The New Life

Mindy had a response that both Aiyil and Dexus had come to expect.

The little girl failed a bit from her 'captivity' of being studied by neighborhood friendly Eldirith Abomination. "Aiiiyil! Heeelp me! I'm not a doll!"

"I don't know. She seems to think so." Dexus said thoughtfully. He was enjoying this too much.

Aiyil nodded sagely, crossing her arms. "Yes, she is cute Elly."

The little girl did calm down, she just hated being picked up because of her short height and apperance made her the target of old ladies picking her up and pinching her cheeks. She was a fully grown magic girl warrior! At least in her mind, never mind she was still a kid. "Um could you put me down please Elly?" She asked a bit more calm.

Elly paused for a moment as she seemed to think over the young girls request. "...hmm... Nope!" She said in a happy chirp. The odd creature that is Elly tucked Mindy under her arm and made her way back to the couch where she planted Mindy in her lap. It took Elly nearly five minutes for Elly to get her 'cute fix' and finally notice Dexus even existed. Of course now that she had calmed down she was interested in the new person and wanted to go meet them. However that presented her with a problem in that she also didn't want to let go of Mindy. In a stroke of brilliance, (at least Elly thought so) she deposited the magical girl into a tentacle that emerged from her back and bounced back over to Aiyil where she waved at the dark haired man. "Hi!" She said with Mindy suspended a few feet over her head.

Mindy sulked after she was basically carried around by the girl known as Elly. There was some incredible irony of her carrying around the young girl around with a tentacle, Aiyil knew this but left it alone. She was too amused, as was her brother.

"Hello there," Dexus said amused. "Elly, was it? How are you enjoying your time here so far?"
