The ride home was quiet, and once they arrived, Karin seemed in no real hurry to do anything. In actuality, she was simply waiting for an opportunity to have some fun.

Makoto made for his room when they got back. As soon as his door was shut he silently dashed over to his bookcase. He heaved a sigh of relief to find that his 'extracurricular' reading material was still there. He'd honestly forgotten about it, but it probably wasn't safe to keep it around. When Makoto returned, it would be to find Karin sitting on the kitchen table, legs crossed like before, in that same outfit. And she simply smiled at him. "Makoto. I think I recall promising you some sort of reward for 'good behavior' as it were. Don't you?"

'Safe...' Makoto thought to himself as he made his way back toward the living room. When he saw what was waiting for him in the kitchen, red shot through his face faster than lightning. When did she--?! HOW did she--?! Did she mention a reward?? That outfit was starting to have a stronger effect on his brain. "You know? I think I do." His attempt at sounding calm was utterly betrayed by his face.
