What Matters Most

Her whimpering and kissing only encouraged Emanulle, and continued to harshly thrust into her, feeling her inner walls tighten around him. Then he flipped Maya onto her hands and knee's, not hesitating as he took her again; thrusting harder into her folds. The angle allowed him to put more power into his thrust since he could add a bit more of his weight. Maya was very strong, even stronger then he was, so she could handle it.

Maya simply cuddled up to him, falling asleep near instantly once her breathing had calmed. It never really occured to her that having had these experiences, it might be just that much harder to let them go.

When Emanulle woke up the next day, it was slow at first before he opened his eyes with Maya on top of him still in their room. The events from last night hit him and a bit of guilt hit him. In a way, he felt like he just taken advantage of Maya with her being drunk. On the other hand..had part of her wanted that deep down? Sometimes being drunk did nothing but lower thinking, other times it brought up things that were hidden.

He couldn't lie to himself and pretend nothing happened and if he was honest..really honest seeing her like this made Emanulle want her again. If another lower part reacting on its own and hardening was any indication then it was more obvious. It took a lot of self control not to do anything, which was already starting to crumble.

Just..doing this won't hurt. So he told himself as he gently, and idly began stroking her long hair gently and almost subconiciously touching her a bit more as she was so close.

It wasn't very long before this woke Maya. She slowly opened her eyes, and became aware of someone stroking her hair, and feeling something hard pressing against her stomach. Emanulle stopped brushing her hair, a slight pause before he spoke again. There was also the possibility she didn't even remember what happened. "..Sorry. Do..you want me to stop?" This might of been less awkward if not for the position both of them were in.

Manny had no idea how badly she wanted to say 'no', but she couldn't. She'd have to lie. "...Manny... we can't do this. I don't know what happened last night, and I'm not going to ask, but this... no. And what about Monica?"

That seemed to do the trick, a unreadable look passed Emanulle's face and he stopped. "..You're right. I'm sorry." He tried to push the awkwardness away. "..I suppose we should pretend like nothing happened."

Maya's face contorted briefly in distress, but she managed to play it off as concern, squeezing his hand. "That would be best... and you don't need to apologize."

Emanulle wanted to say something, but he was unsure what to say. So to that end he slowly retrieved his clothes which had been discarded to the side with his and Maya's heat in the moment actions last night. He got dressed, pausing when he reached the door. "..I'll see you later."

He left after that. He needed to find a place to think.

Maya nodded, and, once he'd left, felt a stabbing pain in her chest. She closed her eyes, forcing herself to remain silent; Emanulle would hear her if she started to cry now. Slowly, she began to get dressed as well. She knew Manny and Monica would talk soon. Once they did, well... she had no doubts that they would get together, and be quite happy. Which is what she wanted... still, seeing them together would be... no, she needed time.

And with that, after getting dress, Maya wrote a two notes. One, saying she'd stepped out to experience a bit of the local culture, and wouldn't be back until late. The other, a note specifically for Terra, which she folded and placed within the woman's pillowcase; she'd find it when she went to bed. And with that, Maya slipped out.

Terra had a exhausting day, mostly because she was busy with a number of things but she was happy otherwise. Her family was together and far as she could tell everyone was having a good time.

When she went to go rest, but not quite feeling like going to bed, she noticed what seemed to be a note. Curious and wondering what it was about, she opened it.
