Sol Survivor

That was a hard question to really answer for the young woman. She could answer truthfully but it wasn't something she wanted to fully delve into at this given moment. At the same time she wanted to give the young man something.

"It's.." Alissa paused a bit. "It's kind of hard to get into. To make a abridged version of it, something happened to our home and we escaped. I know its not a lot to go into but its kind a sensitive subject so is it ok I come back to you on it?"

Sol nodded. "I apologize, I didn't mean to pry." He thought for a moment. "When you feel you're ready we can revisit, I won't push the issue." He decided to change the subject. "If you don't mind a question on another topic. What is your absolute favorite thing to do in this town?" He decided to keep things a bit casual yet he was still interested in her personally. So he decided on the stereotypical "Icebreaker" questions.

Alissa was grateful Sol was mature about it and let the matter drop. It told something to her about the man's character in the positve way. "Well.." She began, more confident this time. "One of the things I enjoy doing a lot since I got here is sports or watching games when I can. Mostly Basketball, but Football and others are all right to. I play Tennis as a hobby and its a lot of fun for. In fact far as playing I enjoy it the most but then again haven't played every sport."

Sol smiled "Well then, maybe when you have time we can do this tennis thing. I've never heard of it however I'm willing to learn." He moved up next to her as he escorted her home. "What exactly does it involve?" He was actually genuinely curious.

Alissa had to think back to what the easiest way to try to describe it would be like. "Tennis is basically a game where you hit a ball back and forth over a table with something called a racket. The goal is knock it out of bounds but only hitting it towards your opponent's side of the table. So you can't be cheeky and just hit off to the side where they can't reach. That be boring to watch and play."

Sol nodded. "We have a similar game where I'm from. Except we use specialized gloves over our hands." He smiled. "Not to brag or anything but I was quite good at it."

That did give Alissa a idea as they drew closer to her place, actually reaching the door of her place. "We'll, if you're not busy tomorrow maybe we can hang out and play a bit? Just us this time. Pyria will be at a friends place."
