Within The Moment

Michru squirmed from the tickling giggling. "H-hey stop!" She didn't mind too much really though as she loved spending time with Terri and when she was affectionate towards her. Since they had been apart she had more or less fine, but less happy without the young woman around at a regular period. Now that they were here and her daddy was dating them maybe it meant they stay around.

The rest of the lunch went without a hitch, and after they finished their business there Emanulle went to lead them back to his apartment, where as Michru took Terri's hand, wrapping her tiny fingers around hers. seemingly content and happy.

When they went out, Emanulle would make sure they also make sure Michru was taken care of so they could have some time alone together with just the two of them. For now though there was no need and Michru definitely deserves to spend time with them he couldn't and wouldn't hog them.

"We'll, we're here.."

It was a modest apartment, but it had a more American style to it or rather custom look to it. There was about two rooms, three if you counted the one with the library in it, standard stove and living area along with the bells and whistles.

"Eventually, me and Michru plan on moving to a house. We have the connections resources wise to do it now but I rather earn it myself. It's not like we live uncomfortably, just not technically rich."

Terri thought about it for a moment. "I'm well off. Technically. However I do earn my income by fighting. So it's hit or miss." She looked around. "It's definitely better than my apartment."

Michru seemed to be thinking a bit. "Daddy said a house and a home are different. A home you feel loved and a family. So any place can be a house but not everywhere can be home."

"That's true. I'd say this place is kind of in between." Emanulle began further into the place. "So what would you like to do first? We could simply watch some Netflix, show you are book collection or maybe a board game? Me and Michru don't have as much company come here that often."

Terri thought for a moment. "Well how about we just sit and talk. Michru you can show me some of your favorite toys if you like." She knew when she was a kid she loved showing off her toys.

Michru's eyes lit up a bit. "I have a lot of them!" She ran off in a hurry into her room to gather her toys in her excitement.

The Arkon watched them a bit amused before turning to Terri. "It's really good to see you again. We would of met with you sooner but seems like life got busy for the both of us." He really was looking forward to Friday tomorrow where he could just spend time with her one on one. Terri was quite the looker and had a very warm and easy going personality so it still surprised him she was single; then again he supposed her schedule and being a fighter may have intimidated some.

Well that and maybe she was waiting on him could of been part of it too. If that was the case good he didn't wait too long.

Terri smiled and watched as Michru raced to her room. She turned back to Emanulle. "She's SO adorable." She wandered slowly around the room they were in just taking in the decor. She turned right to face him. "What is your day looking like tomorrow. "I do have to train but tomorrow is cardio day. So lots of running, jogging and mirror work. Some weights but that's just my morning routine." She really wanted to spend more time with him. However she did have a fight coming up. So she thought maybe she could incorporate their date into her training. Well her morning routine anyway. The rest of her day is free.

"To be honest, I'm pretty much completely free. Michru will be spending time with her aunt so it'll just be the two of us." he admitted, thinking if he had anything but far as he knew he was free. "Going with a routine like that sounds fun. After that you'll be free for the day?"

He was looking forward to spending some alone time with them..and well seeing Terri sweat and being close to her did stir something. Manny wasn't going to plan and pretend he wasn't attracted to them and he was pent up. It was more of it happened, it happened and he could be wrong he didn't think the tension was just on his end.

Terri nodded "Yup, no errands, or anything. Just my morning workout." bit her lip for a moment thinking about tomorrow. Then she smiled. "I don't think I've met your sister. Come to think of it I don't think you've mentioned her. Then again..." She tapped the side of her head with her knuckles. "I have had a concussion or two." She chuckled.

Emanulle shook his head. "Sister? No. I have a cousin named Monica who is often mistaken as my sister though. I also have a young nephew and two aunts but no direct siblings."

Before he could continue, Michru came back happily with a bag full of toys though in particular she seemed to be excited about a type of board game or two. "I'm back! You can pick since you're our guest Terri."

Terri furrowed her brow in confusion. She shook her head letting it go. She had her own family complications. She looked at the games Michru brought over. "Hmm... Let's see." She picked a game and set it on the table. "How about you set it up and we'll play."

(Did you mind a bit of a time skip until evening? Figure playing out the board games would be a bit boring.)

Michru was more then a bit excited about showing them everything the game had to offer. The only real issue she had no clue what so ever of what game she wanted to play. So as to keep her from being stuck unable to make a decision, Emanulle did let them know it wasn't like they couldn't play multiple games.

"Um.." Michru paused, albeit briefly then brightened up as she got her game out. "Monopoly! That's a lot of fun."

This got a brief chuckle from Emanulle. "Monopoly to start it is. You're probably both better then me at this game then me at this point."

Terri smiled "Oh I love that game." She moved to a low table and moved some things around to make room. "I call the shoe!"

Time passed and as it went down, Michru found herself drifting off.(I'm not tired!) which would have been more compelling if her head wasn't find itself more interested in looking at the ground. With a quick word from Emanulle and that if she wanted to be strong like Terri one day, she needed her sleep had done the trip without much protest.

The young man gently picked them up before tucking them in, the comfortable bed thankfully being the last lure Michru needed before sleep claimed her. Satisfied he turned to Terri after closing the door to let the girl sleep. "She's a real good kid. She missed you a lot..and so did I. Michru came a long way since I first met her, or adopted them I should say."

Terri leaned against the wall with a slight smile. "I really missed you guys too." She pushed herself off the wall "I'm just glad circumstances brought us here again." Her eyes glanced at the wall clock. It was getting a little late. She nodded her head towards the door. "Walk me to the door?" She asked. She wanted to get home and into bed so they could meet up for her morning workout. "Are you gonna join me for a morning workout?"

Emanulle moved to escort them to the door with no issue; he had a good time and he wanted to spend more time with them. "I'm free for the morning, so yeah I'll join you." He wasn't going to both miss the chance to spend time with them alone but also likely sweaty from the work out. Not that he'd say that out loud just yet. "Around what time?"

Terri smiled broadly. "Awesome!" Checking her watch she moved to stand. "It's a date." She pulled out her notepad and wrote down her address. Tearing the paper off the small pad and handed it to him. "That's my apartment address. Six a.m. sharp."

 Emanulle saw Terri out before he went to get some sleep himself, which was somewhat hard since he was really looking forward to tomorrow. However, he did have things set up so Michru was of course taken care of while he spent some time with Terri for the day. There was also the bonus of getting to see Terri work up a sweat in training clothes. He may of been a gentleman but he was still a man.

 Once his things were in order, he checked the address he was given before knocking on the young woman's door.

Terri slept pretty well. She was already dressed and ready to go for her run. She slipped her cellphone into her arm pouch and tucked her headphones into her pocket. She had just finished pulling her ponytail through her hat when she heard a knock at the door. 

She smiled and moved towards the door. She unlocked and opened it. Seeing Emanulle she smiled "Hey there, Ready to run?" She was wearing running shorts (That looked to be one size too small) A sports bra with sneakers and a sleeveless hoodie that said South Town High on it.

Manny himself liked the view, but the shirt did prompt a small question. "I'm ready when you are Terri. Just curious though, is that the name of the high school you graduated from?" He hadn't heard of that name, then again he hadn't ever been to that particular area. There was plenty of places he still didn't know much of.

Terri nodded as she locked her door. "MmmHmm. South Town Highschool. It's in South Florida." Making her way down stairs. "So there's a park nearby. I normally jog over to it and then run the track." As she walked outside she began to stretch. She bent over lacing her fingers behind her back and reached for the sky. Looking at Emanulle between her legs upside down. "You may wanna do the same." She called out as she stood back up. Reaching into her hoodie pocket she pulled out a bottle of water and tossed it to Emanulle. "Gotta stay hydrated." Then she took off in a jog.

Emanulle caught the bottle easy enough as he kept a even pace with her. Jogging wasn't so much about who was faster so much that it was about endurance. The more you did it, the longer and better you tended to get it like with most things.

"So how long have you been training? I know you mentioned your father but not sure when you started exactly."

Terri continued to jog to the park. She settled in next to Emanulle "I started training when I was 4 years old along with my sister back in South Town. Both my dad and my mom trained us." She continued down her path. "When I was 12 my dad just vanished. I'm assuming he went back to the fighting circuit. Mary, my sister didn't stick with the fighter circuit like I did. She went into private investigation. I think she's looking for our dad."

The reasons for their dad vanishing could of been numerous. But no matter what Emanulle couldn't think of many good reasons why a father and one who had been in their life for a good portion of it would just up and vanish. Something bad could of happened to them, or maybe, perhaps for one reason or another they had left their family of their own will. That still didn't leave a satisfying conclusion to the young man.

 If he was thinking it, he could only imagine at least some similar thoughts Terri had entertained at least once so he didn't voice them. Perhaps it wasn't a touchy subject but he let it be to the side for now.

 "I hope you're able to find them. That is strange they vanished as they did." Emanulle said after a moment of thinking. "Has there been any clues or anything at all since then?"

Terri shook her head. "I've checked in with all his Fight Circuit contacts and found nothing. I'm hoping my sister, Mary will have had better luck. She's trained to find people." She stopped at a stop light and kept jogging in place. She timed her pulse as she waited for the light to change. "How about you? Aside from that gorgeous little girl you have, any other family?" The light turned and she took off jogging. They were almost at the park.

It was relaxing being around Terri while she worked out. Sure of course the physical view of them was nice but he did always enjoy just talking and hanging around them company wise. If he had the resources he would have helped the young woman find her father but as is, he was a bit lacking in that regard since he gave that all up.

 "I have a aunt named Terra and another one named Maya, my cousin named Monica. That's my main family." He said as he followed after them on their side casually. "My own parents aren't around anymore but that's all right. It was good when it lasted and I have a very good family dynamic."
