General Description: Valkyrie are a race of Norse origin, coming from the days of legends of the Norse Gods like Odin and Loki. They were seen to come to battlefields to collect the fallen so they may join Odin for the final battles that would decide the fate of the world.
They are a mostly female race, but the resulting child often results in another Valkyrie though with traits of both parents.

Home Lands: Valkyrie hail from the mystical realm known as Asgard. It's connected to the Earth Realm(which they often called Midgard) and is currently one of their allies. Trade goes back and forth, and the main mystical tree that sustains life there Yggdrasil grows smaller one of their kind. These tree's are used for various other things, but in moderation.

Personality:
Valkyrie are usually very serious, this is a more of a cultural thing then anything else. That along with taking vows and promises seriously and doing their best to fulfill them. That's not to say they are all work and no play, but more of 'work hard, then play hard.'

Physical Description: For the most part, they look like attractive humans. All Valkyrie have wings they can make visible or vanish at will. That aside there is nothing that terribly stands out from a normal human in terms of looks.

Life-Span: First Generation Valkyrie's(I.E. those from Odin's time) are immortal in the sense of living forever unless killed or they voluntarily give it up. Second Generation are those born after their time have a definite life span. Besides being long lived, no exact time frame has been observed.

Name: While it depends on the Valkyrie, most have Norse names or at least those with a slight flavor of them.

Relations:
As a whole, they don't mind other races believing its the spirit. However, there are some they are naturally wary of because of past bad blood. Those would be Abyssal Demons, Drow and Minitaur mostly.

Natural Power Set:
(EX) Valkyrie have superhuman strength and other physical stats. There's no universal level of base strength though most are less strong enough to lift a average car.
(EX) Flight. Valkyrie can fly with, or without the aid of wings.
(EX)Valkyrie can touch and hurt incorporeal beings. This has part to do with their history of going to battlefields in search of fallen warriors. Because of this, they can also see beings that normally aren't visible like ghost.
(EX) Enhanced senses. Valkyrie have enhanced senses, all weak to the opposing effects.
(EX) Magical Affinity: Valkyrie have a natural affinity to magical energies of different types, able to learn them a bit faster then average.
(EX) Unique Ability: Almost all Valkyrie have one or two powers unique to them but they are related to their personality and what they are. It may be something battle related and the like, but it wouldn't be for example the ability to make plants grow since it has nothing to do with them.
