History: Katrina's parents and sister died in a house fire when she was very young. It was arson. Her father was a federal prosecutor so that lead to many threats on him and his family. This time they succeeded. With no other family Katrina was remanded to the state. She was bounced from foster home to foster home.
When she was 10 Katrina ran away. To the state she was now just another statistic. Now living on the streets she was forced to adapt. She became a thief and lived that way until she was 13. That's when she met him.
Wesley Porter Walters. He was an assassin posing as a buyer for illegal arms when Katrina procured his briefcase. He didn't even chase her. She found that to be a bit odd. When she made it back to her hideout she managed to crack open the case. It wasn't easy. The case was very high tech. When she opened it she found what looked to be top secret documents and a hand gun. She was about to search through the documents when someone cleared their throat behind her.
The man who she stole the briefcase from was standing there leaning against the wall as if he was waiting for her. Since then the man for some reason she was never able to figure out took Katrina under his wing. For years she trained as an assassin. Learning various techniques as well as studying politics. She was a legitimate student at various prestigious collages. By the age of 17 she was a full on assassin. However that all came to an end on her first mission.
While on assignment Katrina, then known as the assassin The Widow, infiltrated a Nobus base. She was posing as an ambassador of some obscure country. Her target was the head of Nobus. She never even got close. As she was about to enter the summit meeting she was met by an entire garrison of Nobus agents.
She was taken into custody and placed in one of their interrogation rooms. For hours no one came. Then a well dressed man entered with a briefcase. It was Wesley. Or agent Walters of Nobus Special Intelligence. The man who gave her the mission. It turned out the man was grooming Katrina to be a Nobus agent. This was done without the knowledge of Nobus.
After days of talking Wesley finally convinced Katrina to join. With additional training Katrina became one of their best covert ops agents. She served for 20 years. When she retired Katrina went into politics back in her home country of America. Rising quickly from Governor to Senator. Finally after some convincing she decided to run for the Presidency. After a heated election and some controversy about her past, Katrina was newly elected as the President of the United States.
