Physical Description: Ayame has long white hair that extends beyond her thighs. Deep red eyes and smooth white skin. She typically wears high class clothing in combination with her armor (gauntlets & undershirt), which hides her well-toned figure. Her wings are often kept hidden during battle unless needed, but she keeps them visible otherwise.

Personality: Ayame is a well-meaning knight with a penchant for justice. Her straight-laced regard of laws and regulations rarely takes a backseat to matters of the heart unless close friends are involved. Generally, she keeps a positive dignified attitude. Thus, she does not arrogantly impose her will of 'justice' on others. When certain buttons are pushed, however, she has been known to have sudden bursts of anger. She is honest to a fault. Her facial expressions and demeanor often betray her true feelings despite her words. Her knightly disposition fills her with respect for similar fighters (straight-forward) and a disdain for trickery (considered cowardice).

Restrictions: Ayame can fight for eight hours before getting tired. Stronger shielding techniques require larger amounts of Arcana. She can regenerate shields if she has enough power.

Weapons and Precious Items: Her main, and only, weapon is a black rune-scribed great sword. Her sword was forged with her own Arcana as a base, establishing a link between the two and increasing the blade's durability. She can will the sword to her hand if it is within a 5 mile radius.

Special Moves:

Shielding: Can summon a shield anywhere on her person. Arcana use is low, but shield is dense. Good for defending melee assaults.

Projective Shielding: Can summon a large shield in different shapes (bubble, wall, dome, etc.) within medium range (30 meters). Arcana use is high, shield is best used for energy attacks. Can be used for physical defense at a much greater cost.

Deflective Shielding: Can summon a large shield of different shapes within short range (10 meters). Absorbs energy attacks to fire Arcane arrows in retaliation. Arcane use is moderate, but cannot block physical attacks. Repelled shots are optional, resulting in absorbed force converted to Arcana.

Sword Ray: Extend sword's reach by enveloping the blade in Arcane energy. Increases blade's sharpness. Can cut through barriers and parry energy attacks. Arcana use is moderate to sustain.

Drill Thrust: A thrusting attack that releases a small whirl of light around the blade. Blocks become damaging, near-misses become deadly.

Aura Shield: Touch an ally to temporarily boost their defense and decrease pain felt. Lasts until ally leaves her range (30 meters) or she releases the skill. Can only be applied to one ally at a time.

Reinforce: Heals quickly from poison, paralysis and negative magic/drug effects. Can be applied to allies through direct contact.

Chaos Rain: Creates a circular ceiling above the foe's head to rain down countless shards of Arcana blades. Blades are small and numerous, high piercing power. This power can be used horizontally as well. Arcana use is very high. Other abilities cannot be used for a while after this attack.

History: Ayame has spent most of her life training; either under her parent's tutelage or raising future knights-to-be. She comes from a noble background with both parents being accomplished knights and teachers at a training school. Proper etiquette and righteous virtues were instilled upon her as a child. After her own graduation she stayed to tutor students until she turned 40, at which point she left to test other schools of battle and offer her teachings/services to others.

Some of her time is spent as a mercenary but she primarily travels to better her knowledge of the world, improve her swordsmanship and offer 'justice' whenever needed.
