Abilities: Hotaru has the unique ability to summon. She inherited the ability to summon familiars from her mother’s side of the family. Hotaru uses Duel Monsters cards as a catalyst. She can summon the monsters almost as if she’s actually in a normal duel. When summoning using Duel Monster the rules of the card game apply to real life combat. Such as using spells, traps, and tribute summoning monsters.

History: Hotaru is the younger sister of Shuya. For as long as she can remember She’s always been close to her brother and always worried about him when he tried to act like a lone wolf. However, she began to notice her brother changing. He would sometimes talk to himself and even look up like someone was sayign something to him. Then during a trek home she was kidnapped by a group of Yakuza looking thugs. She was terrified. What would they do to her. And then a few weeks later she was blindfolded. There was the sound of crashes screams and a monstrous war. And then she felt something picking her up. When she finally got the blindfold off she was with her family again. After that Her brother suddenly announced he was moving to Uminari where their cousins the Takamachis lived. After he moved she began to awaken her powers and was recruited by a family friend into the Nobus Mage unit as a Trainee.
