Powers: Dimension Shift: Ever since the 'accident', Garry can, with certain paintings, open a portal into what he's called Guertena. Guertena is a world full of a famous artists paintings, the artist named Guertena. The world is severely messed up, with paintings coming to life inside this world designed like an Art Museum and trying desperately to kill anyone who enters. Garry can enter this world and, if he successfully finds another painting, can ultimately leave Guertena. Unless it's the same painting he entered from, which usually breaks down after entering so it isn't likely, Garry will always end up in a different place at any given moment; where ever the new painting resides. He can also bring up to two people with him to Guertena, but would rather not.

Restrictions: Traveling to Guertena requires a painting that only Garry can determine whether it will open a door or not. Traveling between the dimensions is very taxing on Garry and will occasionally cause him to faint under the stress.
Paintings that truly exist in the Fabricated world will remain whether Garry travels through them or not. But Paintings where Garry just entered Guertena from can and will dissolve, leaving Gary stranded in Guertena until he discovers a new painting to leave from.

History: Garry had lived a fairly uneventful life before the 'accident' at the Art Museum. He was attending college part time to get a degree in Art, living on his own at the time. He had a talent for art and loved doing it, even if his art took priority over work and occasionally school. During his studies, he brought himself to an Art Museum which was holding a collection of all the art of Guertena; a famous artist among artists. Guertena painted odd things and even made sculptures out of mannequins and other odd things. Garry was thoughtfully studying the art when the lights of the museum suddenly flickered and died and when they returned, he was alone in the museum. This is what he now calls the accident.

When he realized he was alone, Garry searched endlessly for anyone else, since the Museum had been full of people minutes ago. His search brought him into what he assumed, at the time, was the basement of the Museum where more art work was hung in dimly lit hallways. He continued to look for others when he came across a blue rose in a vase of water. He took it without realizing just what that meant. After finding a painting called 'The Woman in Red', Garry realized in sheer horror that the woman in the painting had come to life and jumped off the wall. With her arms and head jetting out of the portrait, she attacked him. Each time she bit or scratched him, a petal would fall from Garry's blue rose. The painting grabbed his rose and then ran away, leaving Garry unconscious in a hallway, left to die. If it hadn't been for a little girl with brown hair and red eyes, Garry surely would have died. The girl had been visiting the Museum as well when the shift had happened. She found the portrait and stole back Garry's rose, putting it in a vase of water where it collected its petals again. This revived Garry and he thanked the girl for her help.
Her name was Ib.

Garry, unsettled that a girl no older than nine was walking alone in the horrible and mutated museum, decided to travel with Ib and protect her. Together they searched for a way out. Some time passed before Garry and Ib discovered another girl left in the Museum. A blonde girl in a green dress named Mary. Ib, Garry and Mary all had the mysterious roses. Ib's was red, Mary's was yellow. Garry insisted that Mary tag along since she too was just a girl no older than Ib.
At one point, after entering a room that Garry found 'disturbing', the trio got separated when metal vines grew up between them. Garry was reluctant to let the girls go on ahead without him, but Ib had insisted on finding a way to get Garry back with them and Mary wanted to see what was ahead. They left Garry who eventually returned to the disturbing room. Mary and Ib had seen cute fluffy bunnies sitting on shelves in the room and a large painting of said bunny; but Garry had seen tattered, creepy dolls with bright red eyes and torn dresses. Despite being creeped out, Garry found his own way out and went to reunite with Mary and Ib. This time separated from the girls allowed Garry to discover something out however. In the library of the world later named Guertena, Garry found a book with all Guertena's known works of art listed. After looking through it, Garry found the last painting he had done was named 'Mary' of a girl with blonde hair, blue eyes and a green dress. Garry quickly set out to find Ib again, knowing Mary was just another horrid painting with ill intentions. When he found the girls, Mary had drawn a plate knife on Ib and Garry, just in time, saved Ib by pushing Mary back.

After picking up their search for an exit and another fight with Mary, Ib managed to escape Guertena thanks to Garry giving up his blue rose to Mary. When Ib returned to the original museum where her parents were waiting for her, she discovered a new portrait hanging on the wall. 'The Forgotten Portrait'; it was a picture of Garry holding a rose, sleeping. But Ib had no memory of the Museum and so, left without thinking much of it.

Time passed and eventually Garry woke up, surprisingly still alive but still inside Guertena. He still has his blue rose but has discovered that after having woken up, there are paintings that give off certain vibes. He didn't remember this from before, along with a lot of things like who his parents were or what he did in life before the Art Museum. After a few trial and errors, Garry realized that he could escape Guertena through these special paintings. He had finally made it back to the real world or as he called it 'The Fabricated World'. But there were terms and conditions to this. Garry was forever tied to the blue rose. Should its petals wilt, he will die completely. Secondly, the rose could only be revived in Guertena. Whenever a petal falls no matter which world he's in, Garry is overcome with great physical pain. And lastly, in the back of his mind, Garry feels there was something he has to do still in Guertena so he never strays too far from a painting that can lead him back inside. He hasn't been outside of Guertena longer than a week without getting antsy and feeling he has to return or something bad will happen.
