Abilities: Jump Jets: Capable of 100m sustained verticle climb or a series of shorter bursts before requiring ten seconds cool-down. The jets also allow the Accipiter impressive maneuverability in ground combat. The design is at it's best in zero-g or low gravity, meant to allow the suit to navigate in space. This system allows for low-orbit deployment of Accipiter suits, usually deployed alongside Araneam grav-shoot platforms.

Capable of wireless data-hack of Patrian systems, allowing to access and override secured doors and airlocks. This system has been removed in all Accipiter suits deployed to missions outside of Patrian space.

Defensive Systems: 30mm thick composite armor, including high-hardness steel, tungsten, and plastic filler with ceramic component. Laser-Baffler magnetic field to passively counter laser-guided weaponry. Zero-G combat models also come equiped with a smaller version of the energy shield system found on Alus 'Abaven' gunships.

Equipment: Mounted with a one primary imaging array near the center of the torso, the Accipiter also sports a series of secondary cameras and imagers in case of catastrophic damage to the main array. On-board computers automatically adjust the displayed image to center it to the vehicle to prevent vertigo from the different view-points.

Deployable panels on the lower legs allow for a greater deal of stability when in a dedicated firing stance. The right 'arm' of the suit is equipped with deployable manipulators, to serve much like a hand, as well as being equipped with prehensile data-jack cabling, allowing for easy access to computers and similar hardware.

Equipped with a laser-dazzler system and sonic pacification system for a non-lethal crowd control option.

Cargo Hold: Hard-points on the back allow the attachment of bustle bins or sacks if required..

History: Based partly off a civilian zero-gravity construction suit, the Accipiter began it's adaptation into a combat suit during Operation Obsidione, where it was required to have a means of rapid movement between the asteroid facilities, and to engage machine-fleet combat units.

Post-war, the original Accipiter suits were down-graded to civil defense and police units, and a brand new model was developed based off power armor and mecha designs of the Alus military, and combat support systems of the Earth militaries. There are multiple models of the Accipiter, with this being the most commonly seen outside of Patrian space.
