Physical Description: Kenji has messy black hair and blue eyes. He usually wears a green overcoat with matching green slacks, and a red/yellow stitched scarf. His eye color shifts from time to time, an occurrence detested by Kenji. Because of his thick glasses, his current eye color cannot be seen.

Personality: Kenji is an oddball, to put it lightly. His train of thought is constantly (seemingly) derailed by any random thought that occurs to him at any given time. This is probably a result of his sleep schedule, which averages out to 10 hours per week. His actions are very strange to most, though questionably methodical to others. Kenji has a deep obsession for the occult and all things supernatural, which is incredibly strange considering the world he lives in. There is a distinct intelligence underlying his nonsensical babbling. Kenji is a rather clever individual who has a knack for reading people’s emotions quickly.
His true demeanor is best described as lonely. Due to his geeky exterior and a certain curse, Kenji has no friends or family to speak of. He never shows his true self as he has no one close to him. Clues of his depression can be witness amidst his random and wild behavior, though most people pay him very little attention.
Note: Kenji does not actually need to wear glasses. He prefers to hide his eyes since they constantly change color and depth. This tends to ‘freak people out’. Also, the eyes are the doorway to the soul. Cover them up and “The Conspiracy” agents can’t get to ya as easily, you know.

Restrictions: Kenji is able to go long periods of time without sleep, though this does have a detrimental effect on his health. In actuality, he has heightened senses but they are inhibited due to his lack of sleep. He can be clumsy and forgetful in his frazzled state of mind.
Kenji’s ‘Curse of Possession’ is slated as an Illness because it has a permanent effect on Kenji and cannot be removed. It is the result of a possession that he is largely unaware of. He cannot perceive the curse’s effects, but others inherently see Kenji as a threat or untrustworthy person as a result of the curse. Animals and creatures that rely on basic instinct strongly dislike him, and humanoid races subconsciously avoid him. The curse affects those immediately around Kenji and does not exude an energy output.
Kenji’s mind is like a maze in of itself. Because of this, he is immune to mind control, hypnosis, charm effects and any other mental-related ailment/affliction.
Due to a particular incident, if Kenji’s haunting spirit is removed from his body, Kenji will die.

History: Kenji has a very splotchy memory in regards to his childhood. He can’t remember the faces or names of his parents, though he is aware of their possible existence. This is surely evidence that they were removed from reality. Likely because they came too close to uncovering “The Conspiracy” that keeps the denizens of this world oppressed! Everything about his home life is obscure up until their disappearance.
School has been a regrettable experience, indeed. As far back as Kenji can remember he’s had no friends. Regardless of how hard he tried to make some, people seemed to
avoid contact with him. Kenji only briefly became withdrawn before beginning to suspect another power at play. It was far too convenient that his family
disappear without a trace. Not even his neighbors remembered ever seeing them. It was as if they vanished in mind and spirit completely. "Wiped from reality". Kenji became obsessed with uncovering the truth behind consciousness itself at the young age of six.
Kenji has kept to himself over the years, though not exactly by choice. He was bounced around to different foster homes. None could withstand the curse's effects. He doesn’t make contact with a lot of people even when he goes out. He’s not shy, certainly not so about his occult dealings. He doesn’t, however, regularly hang out with anyone. Kenji works as a Mangaka and is a highly accomplished artist under the tag name "KenKen". All of his work is sent to the publishing company impersonally. He would like to believe he is close to cracking “The Conspiracy”, but deep down he knows he’s no closer than he was nineteen years ago…
