Avalice, Shang Mu: Shang Mu is the highest populated city-state on the eastern shores of Avalice, its a huge city filled with commerce and life. The city is considered one of the Three Kingdoms of Avalice. Shang Mu is a democratic nation ruled by the Grand Mayor who is elected by the people.

Gender: Male

General: Lark is covered in dark-brown fur with green highlights, kept smooth by frequent grooming, making it look sleek, almost like skin. His ears are large, lined with the scaled outline along the rim characteristic of a Wildcat. His eyes are blue, and slitted like most of Avalician Wildcats. His tail has a black-colored tip. As to be expected he has retractable claws on his hands. His body does not appear clear with muscles, but that is deceiving as most Avalacian Wildcats who are active share the same stature and body-shape.

He is generally seen wearing a heavy pocket-west and climbing pants. He also wears hard boots as not to hurt his feet from climbing or falling.


True Neutral

General Summary: Lark appears to be a generally cheerful (or attempting to be) and light-hearted person. However much of this is quite possibly due to growing up in Shang Mu. He attempts teasing generally when the mood befalls him. His integrity allows him to maintain a certain understanding of manners in a conversation.


Appraising: Capable of judging items of their worth, making it easy to know how much certain items are worth in wealth.

Acrobatics: An early life of climbing and jumping the roof's of the City of Shang Mu gives one a sense of agility to use to the fullest.



Feline: Being a feline provides several advantages, improved vision in the dark, an increased sense of hearing and smell, and a good sense of balance for agile purposes. However, these enhanced senses also make them more sensitive to sudden changes in the environment, such as walking out of a quiet room into a noisy street, or from a clean area into one that’s filthy and full of refuse. These aren’t particularly debilitating, but remain somewhat disorientating.


Climbing: Wildcats of Avalice have retractable claws which enable them to climb most surfaces skillfully, spending their childhood and youth doing it as a pass-time to master it. The claws are not strong enough to climb metallic or solid-rock surfaces.

• Crystal Shard Necklace: A necklace with a single Avalacian crystal shard on it. Marking a successful pilgrimage to the Ancient Temple at Shang Tu.
  
• Solar Crystal: A spare crystal for use in the Avalacian Pulser.
  
• Shang Mu Code Receiver: A small crystal battery powered device much akin to Cell-Phones on Earth. Powered by a simple Solar-powered Crystal on the top right side. It lacks many of the advanced capabilities of modern Earthborne Cell-Phones however.

Lark is a simple Wildcat from the Shang Mu commercial district, living most of his life with fairly moderate living standards. However as appears to be common among Wildcats, they have a natural sense for adventure, and leaving Shang Mu to discover the Ruins of the Pangu Lagoon seemed almost normal to him. However he quickly learnt that various old dragon artifacts found in the deep reaches of such ruins demand a high price on the underground markets in Shang Mu, leading him into a life of treasure Hunting for wealth.
