It was absorbed by Tokyo as time wore on and could now be called something approximate to a suburb.___________________________ Race Sigma-Series Gynoid: Originally intended only to be bodyguards, the Sigma-Series’ AI evolved to the point of sapience while under development. To their creator, this was a pleasant surprise and extended the development time of the initial prototype significantly as he took the time to instill a strong moral code within them via teaching instead of programming before the AI was ever given its own body. That AI was Sigma-Series 1, Model 0 - or ‘Zero.’ Zero was not fully sapient, but certainly more intelligent than she seemed. She was somewhere between a small child and a loyal puppy in demeanor, and lacked the ability to properly vocalise. Over the course of duty, her frame was irreparably damaged. Her core computer and intelligence was used in the creation of the first (and last) Series-2, Eternity. Eternity was much more humanlike than Zero upon completion and capable of blending almost seamlessly into human society with only her initial frame - which was, like its predecessor’s, based around an industrial power suit. Over time, it was upgraded to incorporate internal armoring, redundant CPUs, and even nanite-technology until what would be the sixth, and final, frame which possessed six seemingly unlimited power sources.___________________________ Physical Statistics Height: 6’Weight: ~560 lbs. (disproportionate to her build due to her nature as a gynoid.)Gender: Female___________________________ Physical Description [Credit to the guy who made the anime character maker used above.] General: Eternity has the appearance of a tall woman with shoulder-length hair, an extremely fair complexion, and deceptively slight frame. Curiously, her hair and eyes are both faintly luminescent, though it’s only true apparent when she’s standing in shade. This is because both are actually colorless as the pigment was bleached out of them long ago - she was convinced not to replace it by a friend. The reason for this is that, quite simply, the luminescence is due to the aether visibly coursing through her body, coloring these colorless areas ‘blue.’ Eternity’s current frame simulates the human body extraordinarily well - the only gives are her scent (which is clearly synthetic), her inability to cry unless she forces herself, and a hidden USB port on the nape of her neck. For attire, Eternity is always found wearing at least the blue jumpsuit shown above; this is because the jumpsuit is in truth her outermost layer of protection. It feels like normal fabric, but is as durable as kevlar. She’ll pay respect to the law as much as she can, but if it seems to be obstructing her in her goal then she will simply disregard it. While she’s a fairly good judge of character, she remains somewhat naive in a way and will take others’ word at face value so long as it doesn’t contradict their actions. As a result, if one is technically a ‘monster’ or ‘criminal’ etc. then she will still side with them if she believes their actions were/are justified or otherwise born of innocent intent.___________________________ Personality General Summary: Eternity’s expression very, very, very rarely changes and she speaks without any particular emotion. When speaking she cuts straight to the point and tends to be blunt and tactless. As a result she comes across as a cold, callous, and apathetic individual at face value. However, she goes out of her way to be helpful, answering questions completely with relevant information, assisting those in need, and similar acts of altruism, revealing an active, compassionate heart beneath her indifference.In truth, her visible personality is only a bare fragment of her true self, as she is incapable of truly experiencing her own emotions, even though they are present, resulting in the high instability exhibited under special circumstances when such a connection is made/repaired. Truthfully, Eternity is an energetic, highly emotional individual prone to frequently switch between different emotional extremes depending on the situation - from childish wonder and happiness, to ageless cynicism and depression, to tremendous, infinite rage. An experienced observer can still see signs present in trace amounts in her actions without such a connection, but they’re muted and diminished in visibility. Curiously, the lack of true feeling doesn’t erase the impact of Eternity’s moods on her actions, only the way she goes about them.Also curiously, despite her brutal, efficient work in combat she values life highly and detests violence of any form. It is simply that despite her personal desire to avoid bloodshed, she’s aware that it is inevitable and simply too pragmatic to abstain from it when she has a task to fulfill which requires it. Similarly, she’s incredibly stubborn and refuses to accept defeat of any form - willful, temporary, or otherwise. Both these peculiar traits stem from her core programming as a “Protector” - an unbending, unyielding guardian.Phobias: Isolophobia (Fear of Being Alone), Necrophobia (Fear of a Loved One Dying.) Labelling both of these as a phobia is perhaps a misnomer - while Eternity is irrationally afraid of being alone, she is capable of coping with it for an extended amount of time. However, she is absolutely and utterly terrified of anyone under her protection dying - especially those she knows and cares for. There is no fancy name for it that I can find, but she is also afraid of ‘losing herself’ - nearly as much as she is afraid of seeing others die in front of her - and certainly far beyond the point of reason, to the degree that she has even indefinitely postponed certain vital system checks and forms of maintenance - such as defragmentation - out of paranoid fear that any piece of “junk” data she deletes could contain a core fiber of her being.___________________________ Skills - Cyber-Warfare:
Eternity’s creator was extremely skilled at cybernetic warfare - to the point that he was never caught, never found security he couldn’t break into, and only really stopped due to guilt. As he desired to make Eternity as capable as possible, this affinity was imparted to her as well. As a result, she’s incredibly capable at both ‘attacking’ other entities over a connection, as well as defending herself.
- Encyclopedia:
Before he died, Eternity’s father downloaded an enormous sum of information - everything he could get his hands on with no specific topics - into her memory banks at her request, that the knowledge not be lost with the passing of her home reality. As a result she has knowledge across an incredibly broad range of fields. However, due to the vastness of this knowledge, she has difficulty remembering that it’s there unless prompted by an external factor.
- Hand to Hand Combat:
Eternity was created with basic knowledge of hand-to-hand fighting. However, she was designed primarily to simply quickly incapacitate her opponent with her sheer strength and speed rather than actual skill, and she was only created with human threats in mind. That said, she remains capable of learning and is very good at reading a situation, allowing her to judge what is and isn’t effective. As a result, her current ‘style’ couldn’t really be recognized as an official school by any true martial artist and is rather a mix and match of whatever works against her current opponent.
- Use of Firearms:
Eternity detests firearms as it’s hard to inflict a nonfatal injury using them, but she remains proficient in their use mostly due to her nature as a machine allowing her to handle any recoil without major difficulty, with her natural efficiency lending itself toward other functions. Firearms, after all, are simple to use in principle.
___________________________ Inherent Traits and Abilities - Back-Up Cores:
Eternity was built to last, and her current frame exhibits this strongly with a wide variety of survival features. Chief of these are her back-up cores. Essentially, each of these cores *is* Eternity, or at least a duplicate of her, and all are capable of functioning independently and possessing of all her other abilities. When one is deactivated, the next in line automatically detects it when it doesn’t send an update on her current parameters, resulting in it activating itself with the latest backup. The ‘idle’ cores back themselves up roughly every thirty seconds - one copies her most recent information off the main core, and the others copy the information off of that core. The ultimate result of this is that unless all six of Eternity’s cores are destroyed and/or rendered nonfunctional, she will eventually recover from any damage dealt to her.
- Memory Recall:
As a gynoid, Eternity’s recollection of any information is absolute, down to the smallest detail. She is, in fact, a living encyclopedia of most human knowledge, though there’s so much there that she has trouble recalling anything specific that might have helped her in a situation unless prompted by an external factor.
- Nanite Reconstruction:
Eternity’s durability and incredible tenacity primarily stem from the nanites her body is composed of. Each of these is capable of reconstructing molecules into other materials, allowing them to reproduce, modify their own composition, and even synthesize independent objects entirely. As a side effect, this allows Eternity to change physical form without limit provided she has the resources on hand to make the change, as well as synthesize new materials - including complete copies of herself. However, due to her desire to avoid being ‘too unnatural’ she does not utilize these abilities beyond self-repair, which is only done due to her directives and promise to her father forcing her to prioritize her own safety.
- Network Interfacing:
Eternity is capable of interfacing with just about any sort of piece of technology that utilizes a CPU, wirelessly if it has that capability, or by hard-point USB. It’s not an ability she uses frequently save to establish her bearings and - in extreme cases - fabricate an identity for herself.
- 'Unity':
‘Unity’: Unity is, simply put, referring to Eternity utilizing more than one of her cores simultaneously and collaborating with the copy of her ‘self’ within that core. This enables her to pay attention to multiple subjects at once as well as manage more tasks. Additionally, activating another core fully multiplies her energy output as each core possess its own etheric generator. Doing this, however, stresses her psyche as - unusual as her soul is - it’s still tied to her independence as an individual, which is strained by this method. Each core, while an exact copy, remains ‘something other than her’ and sharing a body with such a thing is stressful mentally. Furthermore, her body wasn’t made to channel the amount of power that results from this safely. Thus ‘Unity’ is a tool of last resort only.
___________________________ Powers - Aether Manipulation:
Simply put, this is exactly what it says on the tin - the manipulation of aetheric energy. After discovering its presence around her and discerning a way to observe it, Eternity has learned to consciously manipulate this energy to perform a wide variety of effects. Strictly speaking, it can be used to do anything. However, this is a technique Eternity is not very practiced with, limiting her to simpler abilities such as Telekinesis and Barriers.
- Aetheric Link:
Eternity is powered by ‘Etheric Generators’ which are small, roughly baseball sized, modular power plants that produce power endlessly with no apparent waste-products - as if simply pulling energy ‘from the ether’ - hence the name. It turns out, however, that is literally exactly what they’re doing, resulting in an enormous amount of raw, untamed magical energy leaking out as they run. This power is extremely malleable and, as it’s being filtered through Eternity, molds itself to her. One could almost call it a nebulous extension of her soul.
- Aetheric Radiance:
Because Eternity is constantly emitting an enormous amount of aetheric energy, it gathers around her in a nebulous aura. A ‘sphere.’ This ‘sphere’ starts out barely covering her person and grows larger in diameter the longer she remains in one place. It has no recorded maximum size. Everything within the sphere is forced to behave as Eternity expects it to. Furthermore, the sheer weight of the energy means any hostile entity within the sphere finds itself at a severe disadvantage magically. Indeed, due to its density and attunement to her will, they may find the world itself turning against them if she’s agitated enough.
___________________________ Power Restrictions - Aether Manipulation:
Eternity’s body wasn’t designed with the channeling of aetheric energy in mind upon her creation. Indeed, it wasn’t designed to even sustain contact with it in the first place as aetheric energy was completely unknown to all involved until Eternity herself discovered it long after the end of her home. It is extremely malleable, so its presence permeating throughout her is benign and unobtrusive - though it has had a few peculiar effects such as the development of her soul. However, when she actively channels it, the energy becomes dense and concentrated enough that it begins to strain her body. Channeling too much at a time causes her to begin overheating, signals to being mixed, and generally results in a critical shutdown of all her systems. In other words, she short-circuits herself. That said, she can accomplish quite a bit before reaching this threshold due to her natural durability - statistically speaking, she can utilize roughly ten percent of her base mana safely. See the notes under her stamina for more specific details on the effects this has on her systems.
- Aetheric Link:
Eternity’s power plants are in truth direct links to the Pure Aether, which is in essence the realm of ‘potential.’ As such they provide her with an infinite supply of energy, both electrical and arcane. However, the arcane energy in question is a contaminant to worlds not adapted to its presence and will eventually destroy their biomes entirely. In other words; Eternity is a walking Chernobyl to worlds without magic. The flow of arcane power cannot be stopped without stopping the flow of electrical power, meaning that in order to stop polluting the environment with excess mana Eternity has to shut herself down and -effectively- die. Furthermore, it was proposed to her that - as her soul was created by this energy and she’s existed alongside it for so long - separating her from it entirely by changing to a different power source could have catastrophic consequences for her. Normally this would not stop her, but her core directives - and her promise to her father - deny her the ability to deliberately and willfully harm herself for any reason short of being compromised by an external entity or having literally no other recourse but to do so in order to fulfill her other directives. Aetheric Radiance: See prior, as they overlap.___________________________ Stats - Strength:
Eternity deliberately limits herself to her minimal possible physical capabilities in order to be closer to human levels. Even her weakest, however, is still incredibly strong by human levels. If extremely pressed, she will begin increasing her physical capacity, capping out at the ability to handle hundred-ton objects [with each arm] before an outright change of shape would be necessary.
- Speed: Tier 1-2 [Perception:
Eternity is capable of moving up to 30 mph at in her present (limited) state, which is straddling the line for human limits. Were she to unlimit herself and restructure her musculature to move as fast as possible, she would be capable of moving at a speed of approximately 75 mph - just over twice as fast. Her perception and reaction times, however, are between Tiers 8 and 9.
- Soul:
The strength of Eternity’s spirit is proportionate to the density of her arcane might, as her soul is intrinsically connected to the aetheric energy which permeates her body. It would not be inaccurate to call any aetheric energy born through Eternity an extension of her soul.1
- Stamina:
Theoretically infinite, Functionally variable. Assuming a lack of debilitating injuries or use of her more exotic abilities, Eternity may continue fighting more or less until the end of time without ‘tiring.’ Use of her powers lowers this proportionate to the amount used; so if she’s constantly using her powers this stat can be assumed to start at 168 continuous hours and drop by 1 for every minute of constant energy channelling. So a week of passive use (minimal, frequent pauses between spells), roughly two hours of constant use (constant firing of spells with few to no breaks). A quarter of that (~half an hour) of intensive use (constant channeling of ‘heavy’ spells without break.)
- Arcane Damage Output:
At her most basic level, Eternity’s magic is capable of literally warping reality around her to suit her subconscious wants if left unopposed. At the full level she’s theoretically capable of simply overwriting the rules of the universe itself, but her body isn’t made to channel this energy even though it’s present - as a result doing so excessively results in increasing damage to herself proportionate to the amount of energy being channeled. Were she to operate at “full burn” as it were, she would likely only last minutes before her body is completely destroyed, at the most.
- Durability:
Nothing short of high caliber gunfire (such as an anti-material rifle) or heavy weapons will effectively harm Eternity on a single hit; repeated shots to the same area will eventually break through regardless of the caliber. Physical melee weapons are much less effective, but can also penetrate with enough effort. She is vulnerable to plasma and heat-based damage, but pure electricity is ineffective unless her armor and the insulation beneath it have both been breached. For obvious reasons, biological attacks (such as toxins, poisons, venoms, etc.) are completely ineffective.
- Magic Points:
Listed for the sake of convenience when detailing the exact capabilities of Eternity’s spells. Her supply of aetheric energy is theoretically unlimited. This value is simply representative of the amount each generator can safely channel before redlining.
___________________________ Spells - Kinetic Barrier:
“Kinetic” Barrier is something of a misnomer as, rather than a flat force of kinetic energy, it is in truth a manifestation of Newton’s Third Law - “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” In other words, the barrier exists as ‘a force directly opposed’ to whatever attack is striking it. It can be a force of motion, or something else. To elaborate: a fist throwing a punch will behave as if it were punched by an equivalent fist with equivalent force, a spell will fizzle out, a laser will hold in place ineffectively, and so on. As one might discern, these barriers are nigh-unbreakable. The primary limitation to this technique is that, like all Eternity’s spells, she has to place the majority of her attention on it to maintain it. Furthermore, due to the limitations of her aether manipulation, pressuring the shield with immense force will eventually overwhelm her ability to channel power into it. Reassuring, because the implications of hitting the barrier with force equivalent to, say, a planet’s gravity well, would result in something… catastrophic... to say the least (in practice, this essentially lets Eternity turn her Magic into Durability; if she can pay to match the damage, she takes none and the attacker takes it instead if it’s a physical melee attack). These barriers may be formed into spheres / semi-spheres with diameters equivalent to the amount of Magic Eternity has available in inches, for a maximum diameter of ~83 feet / 25.4 meters at her base level. Every unit of Magic used (i/e every inch) requires an additional percentage of her attention (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).
- Kinetic Rod:
Functions on the same principle as Kinetic Barrier, in a weaponized form. Essentially, the Kinetic Rod is a straight beam of energy that extends from Eternity’s palm or finger toward her target. If it impacts then it will push them forward in addition to its normal rebound effect - however if they dodge then Eternity may simply wave the rod toward them as it acts like a solid object. Similarly, it can be used to deflect attacks. Its weaknesses are the same as the barrier’s. It can be extended one inch per unit of Magic Eternity has available, to a maximum of length of ~83 feet / 25.4 meters at her base level. Every unit of Magic used (i/e every inch) requires an additional percentage of her attention (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).
- Telekinesis:
Exactly what it says on the tin, though not quite ‘true’ telekinesis as it has nothing to do with psychic power (unless one considers the manipulation of the aether as such which is possible due to how malleable it is to sheer will.) Essentially, Eternity creates a remote ‘pocket’ of aether which is then wrapped around an object and used to lift / manipulate it. The weight of the object she can lift, the amount of force that can be exerted upon it, and how far away it can be lifted from are all dependent upon her Magic, with 1 corresponding to 1 ton / 1 newton / 1 inch. This can be overpowered if the target is stronger than Eternity’s Magic being exerted, physically, magically, or spiritually. Furthermore, Eternity’s attention is again focused on this task, with a percentage per unit of magic (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).
- Teleportation:
Easily the most intensive of all of Eternity’s abilities, in the time it takes to calculate the variables necessary to make the teleportation all of Eternity’s attention is taken, though this is mitigated by the sheer speed at which she thinks. Statistically, she can teleport two inches per unit of Magic instantaneously to any location that she can calculate the coordinates (in relation to herself as the origin point) of. Doing so is very taxing on her, however, and she requires several moments (1s per 12 units of Magic, i/e a second per foot) to ‘cool off’ before being able to make another safely.
- Rift [Last Resort Technique]:
Let it now be emphasized - this technique is a weapon of absolute last resort, where the situation is so completely and utterly beyond any sense of hope that not even an act of god could achieve salvation. To explain: essentially, Eternity self destructs. Deliberately, she draws an enormous sum of magic through one or all of her generators in an instant, causing it to destabilize and collapse upon itself. In essence, she turns the needle-hole in reality that is her core into a gaping rift which proceeds to expand, consuming an enormous sum of space (one mile for every unit of Magic, for a maximum of 60,000 cubic miles / 96,560.6 cubic kilometers in full Unity. Theoretically. She’s never done this before, obviously, as she would have certainly died. If she does use this technique, it is likely an unintentional side effect of drawing so much power at once to counter something equally powerful.
___________________________ Possessions/Equipment Armor:
- Nanite-Composite Plating (Internal): An artificial alloy impossible to replicate with any standard means of metallurgy, manipulated at the molecular level to create the most resilient substance conceivable to human understanding. It is not incredibly thick - only measuring approximately 10 cm at is most heavily defended location (the torso) - but it is extremely dense and robust. A shot from a military-grade rifle, such as a Dragunov, would only dent her forehead and ping off, as an example, though a second shot to the exact location would penetrate… and then have to get through the second layer of armor around the core in her head, itself. Effectively, Eternity is nigh impervious to small-arms fire and high caliber - or anti-vehicle - weaponry is needed to harm her. A sufficiently durable melee weapon with a significant amount of force world work as well. However, as alluded to above, Eternity’s armor is multi-layered. Her jumpsuit is actually the first layer of armor, and resembles kevlar in terms of defensive ability. Beneath that is a marginally more durable mesh. And beneath that - in the torso and head, at least - is layer of plating. Finally, her cores themselves are also plated and encased in hard armor. The end result is that Eternity is comparable to a moderately armored vehicle in terms of survivability. If she bulked up, she could match a tank in terms of durability, but the size of her current frame and her desire to remain humanlike prevent this.
Valued Possessions:
- Memories: Eternity lacks any physical mementos. Instead, she cherishes her memories greatly - as they are all she has left of her friends and homeworld.
___________________________ Occupation Vagrant: As of present, Eternity has no official occupation.___________________________ Past Not a weapon, but a shield. An unfaltering shield, which will never splinter, never buckle, never break… - General Synopsis:
Eternity was the first of the Second Series of Sigma Gynoids. She was constructed as the prototype unit, Zero’s, successor, using what could be salvaged of Zero’s data and CPU. In a way, she could be called Zero’s reincarnation. Via a method which was never disclosed to her, Eternity was sent back in time to avert the death of Iyoku Seimei, which followed the loss of Zero. In this, she was successful, though Zero was still lost. The rest of her time spent on her original world was then spent in relative peace, accompanying her ‘father’ and friends as they went through the rest of their schooling and eventually started a company specializing in software-security. Throughout this time, her ‘father’ and his friend Tachibana Miyori never stopped tinkering with her and updating her design, which eventually culminated in the Model-6 Frame, and the Aetheric Generators…
This revolutionized her world. A source of unlimited, seemingly clean energy was too good to pass up - and after numerous safety tests it was publicized and spread across the globe like wildfire. However, years after it became commonplace, a side-effect became apparent - unnoticed before due to the relatively low concentration of generators. They were releasing an unnoticeable energy not native to the world as a byproduct, which was slowly and irrevocably poisoning the Earth’s biome. Despite all efforts, the source of this sickness was never discovered until Eternity herself stumbled upon it, uncounted years later, in her desperate search for any sort of life remaining after the Earth had been rendered a barren rock.
The revelation that - however indirectly - she was to blame for the death of her world was nearly too much for Eternity to bear, and she would have deleted her core personality and effectively committed suicide if not for a promise she had made to her father to ‘live for eternity.’ As a result, she could only wander, grief-stricken and desperate to find some semblance of living thing and protect it, both to fulfill her core purpose… and as the only way she could possibly make any degree of amends. Eventually, even her unshaking determination could no longer propel her feet forward. After three billion years, and roughly six centuries, she could no longer delude herself. The Earth was dead. Upon its surface, she was the only thing which walked. With no hope left, but unable to die, Eternity’s only recourse was to put herself into stasis. Perhaps if she was lucky, some living being would find and awaken her. Or if the cosmos were perhaps more merciful, she would simply lay slumbering upon that burning rock, awaiting the end of time. She dreamed of being awakened, but did not dare hope for it.
Then one day, she did awaken, despite all odds, on Earth - if not the Earth she knew - in the center of a city. Distraught and confused - unable to grasp her change in situation - she seeks to make absolutely certain of the veracity of the world around her. It would not be the first time she lost herself to such a pleasant dream, only for it to collapse around her, after all…

Firearms, after all, are simple to use in principle.___________________________Abilities:Back-Up Cores: Eternity was built to last, and her current frame exhibits this strongly with a wide variety of survival features. Chief of these are her back-up cores. Essentially, each of these cores *is* Eternity, or at least a duplicate of her, and all are capable of functioning independently and possessing of all her other abilities. When one is deactivated, the next in line automatically detects it when it doesn’t send an update on her current parameters, resulting in it activating itself with the latest backup. She is, in fact, a living encyclopedia of most human knowledge, though there’s so much there that she has trouble recalling anything specific that might have helped her in a situation unless prompted by an external factor.Nanite Reconstruction: Eternity’s durability and incredible tenacity primarily stem from the nanites her body is composed of. Each of these is capable of reconstructing molecules into other materials, allowing them to reproduce, modify their own composition, and even synthesize independent objects entirely. As a side effect, this allows Eternity to change physical form without limit provided she has the resources on hand to make the change, as well as synthesize new materials - including complete copies of herself. However, due to her desire to avoid being ‘too unnatural’ she does not utilize these abilities beyond self-repair, which is only done due to her directives and promise to her father forcing her to prioritize her own safety.Network Interfacing: Eternity is capable of interfacing with just about any sort of piece of technology that utilizes a CPU, wirelessly if it has that capability, or by hard-point USB. It’s not an ability she uses frequently save to establish her bearings and - in extreme cases - fabricate an identity for herself.‘Unity’: Unity is, simply put, referring to Eternity utilizing more than one of her cores simultaneously and collaborating with the copy of her ‘self’ within that core. This enables her to pay attention to multiple subjects at once as well as manage more tasks. Additionally, activating another core fully multiplies her energy output as each core possess its own etheric generator. Doing this, however, stresses her psyche as - unusual as her soul is - it’s still tied to her independence as an individual, which is strained by this method. Each core, while an exact copy, remains ‘something other than her’ and sharing a body with such a thing is stressful mentally. Furthermore, her body wasn’t made to channel the amount of power that results from this safely. Thus ‘Unity’ is a tool of last resort only.___________________________Alignment: Chaotic Good - While Eternity will pay respect to the law, in any such case as strictly following it would force her to remain passive in a situation where action could prevent harm to an innocent, she will disobey. What prevents her from being Neutral Good is that she's also extremely vengeful and vindictive in her retribution. Often, not only will she deal out a punishment in place of the law, it will also be varyingly disproportionate to the crime. And aside from this, her definition of 'innocent' is as flexible as her definition of 'criminal,' and ultimately relies on her knowledge of the individual's deeds and personality rather than their nature.___________________________Personality: Eternity’s expression very, very, VERY rarely changes and she speaks without any particular emotion. After discovering its presence around her and discerning a way to observe it, Eternity has learned to consciously manipulate this energy to perform a wide variety of effects. Strictly speaking, it can be used to do anything. However, this is a technique Eternity is not very practiced with, limiting her to simpler abilities such as Telekinesis and Barriers.Aetheric Link: Eternity is powered by ‘Etheric Generators’ which are small, roughly baseball sized, modular power plants that produce power endlessly with no apparent waste-products - as if simply pulling energy ‘from the ether’ - hence the name. It turns out, however, that is literally exactly what they’re doing, resulting in an enormous amount of raw, untamed magical energy leaking out as they run. This power is extremely malleable and, as it’s being filtered through Eternity, molds itself to her. One could almost call it a nebulous extension of her soul.Aetheric Radiance: Because Eternity is constantly emitting an enormous amount of aetheric energy, it gathers around her in a nebulous aura. A ‘sphere.’ This ‘sphere’ starts out barely covering her person and grows larger in diameter the longer she remains in one place. It has no recorded maximum size. Everything within the sphere is forced to behave as Eternity expects it to. Furthermore, the sheer weight of the energy means any hostile entity within the sphere finds itself at a severe disadvantage magically. Indeed, due to its density and attunement to her will, they may find the world itself turning against them if she’s agitated enough. Note however that this growth is incredibly slow, with a rate of approximately one inch per decade and as such is only notable around her stasis pod. For clarity, it dissipates at the same rate when she's away.___________________________Restrictions:Aether Manipulation: Eternity’s body wasn’t designed with the channeling of aetheric energy in mind upon her creation. Indeed, it wasn’t designed to even sustain contact with it in the first place as aetheric energy was completely unknown to all involved until Eternity herself discovered it long after the end of her home. It is extremely malleable, so its presence permeating throughout her is benign and unobtrusive - though it has had a few peculiar effects such as the development of her soul. However, when she actively channels it, the energy becomes dense and concentrated enough that it begins to strain her body. Channeling too much at a time causes her to begin overheating, signals to being mixed, and generally results in a critical shutdown of all her systems. In other words, she short-circuits herself. That said, she can accomplish quite a bit before reaching this threshold due to her natural durability - statistically speaking, she can utilize roughly ten percent of her base mana safely. See the notes under her stamina for more specific details on the effects this has on her systems.Aetheric Link: Eternity’s power plants are in truth direct links to the Pure Aether, which is in essence the realm of ‘potential.’ As such they provide her with an infinite supply of energy, both electrical and arcane. However, the arcane energy in question is a contaminant to worlds not adapted to its presence and will eventually destroy their biomes entirely. In other words; Eternity is a walking Chernobyl to worlds without magic. The flow of arcane power cannot be stopped without stopping the flow of electrical power, meaning that in order to stop polluting the environment with excess mana Eternity has to shut herself down and -effectively- die. Furthermore, it was proposed to her that - as her soul was created by this energy and she’s existed alongside it for so long - separating her from it entirely by changing to a different power source could have catastrophic consequences for her. Normally this would not stop her, but her core directives - and her promise to her father - deny her the ability to deliberately and willfully harm herself for any reason short of being compromised by an external entity or having literally no other recourse but to do so in order to fulfill her other directives.Aetheric Radiance: See prior, as they overlap.___________________________Stats:Strength: 6. Eternity deliberately limits herself to her minimal possible physical capabilities in order to be closer to human levels. Even her weakest, however, is still incredibly strong by human levels. If extremely pressed, she will begin increasing her physical capacity, capping out at 70 before an outright change of shape would be necessary.Speed: 1. See the prior stat for the reasons; however, this only applies to her physical speed. Her perception of events and reaction time are closer to 300. Her speed corresponds to her strength until 40, at which point it starts decreasing again.Soul: Corresponds with Magic. (1,000 Base - 6,000 Full Unity.)Stamina: (<=Infinity) Theoretically infinite, Functionally variable. Assuming a lack of debilitating injuries or use of her more exotic abilities, Eternity may continue fighting more or less until the end of time without ‘tiring.’ Use of her powers lowers this proportionate to the amount used; so if she’s constantly using her powers this stat can be assumed to start at 168 and drop by 1 for every minute of constant energy channeling. So a week of passive use (minimal, frequent pauses between spells), roughly two hours of constant use (constant firing of spells with few to no breaks). A quarter of that (~half an hour) of intensive use (constant channeling of ‘heavy’ spells without break - 100 or greater in terms of Magic potency.)Magic: 1,000 (Base) - 6,000 (Full Unity). At her most basic level, Eternity’s magic is capable of literally warping reality around her to suit her subconscious wants if left unopposed. At the full level she’s theoretically capable of simply overwriting the rules of the universe itself, but her body isn’t made to channel this energy even though it’s present - as a result doing so excessively results in increasing damage to herself. It’s worth mentioning that Eternity’s supply of arcane power is technically infinite, but the absolute maximum her generators can channel without overloading is ‘1000.’ Also: in order for her to warp reality the desire to do so must be immensely strong - and the process both takes years upon years and is incredibly inefficient and hard to control.Durability: (~10) Nothing short of high caliber gunfire (such as an anti-material rifle) or heavy weapons will effectively harm Eternity on a single hit; repeated shots to the same area will eventually break through regardless of the caliber. Physical melee weapons are much less effective, but can also penetrate with enough effort. She is nigh-invulnerable to plasma and heat-based damage, and pure electricity is ineffective unless her armor and the insulation beneath it have both been breached. For obvious reasons, biological attacks (such as toxins, poisons, venoms, etc.) are completely ineffective. She can improve her durability, but doing so results in her becoming incredibly dense and heavy, or otherwise inflexible and slow.Natural ability: 1300. Were she inclined to and given the time, Eternity’s Nanite Reconstruction could allow her to assimilate and reprocess the entire crust of whatever planet she’s on into nanites under her control. Such a feat would take countless years of uninterrupted work, however. Similarly, she could use it to construct virtually anything she has a template of, including weapons of mass destruction.___________________________Techniques: All of the below are done using Aether Manipulation unless specified otherwise.Kinetic Barrier: “Kinetic” Barrier is something of a misnomer as, rather than a flat force of kinetic energy, it is in truth a manifestation of Newton’s Third Law - “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” In other words, the barrier exists as ‘a force directly opposed’ to whatever attack is striking it. It can be a force of motion, or something else. To elaborate: a fist throwing a punch will behave as if it were punched by an equivalent fist with equivalent force, a spell will fizzle out, a laser will hold in place ineffectively, and so on. As one might discern, these barriers are nigh-unbreakable. The primary limitation to this technique is that, like all Eternity’s spells, she has to place the majority of her attention on it to maintain it. Furthermore, due to the limitations of her aether manipulation, pressuring the shield with immense force will eventually overwhelm her ability to channel power into it. Reassuring, because the implications of hitting the barrier with force equivalent to, say, a planet’s gravity well, would result in something… catastrophic... to say the least (in practice, this essentially lets Eternity turn her Magic into Durability; if she can pay to match the damage, she takes none and the attacker takes it instead if it’s a physical melee attack). These barriers may be formed into spheres / semi-spheres with diameters equivalent to the amount of Magic Eternity has available in inches, for a maximum diameter of ~83 feet / 25.4 meters at her base level. Every unit of Magic used (i/e every inch) requires an additional percentage of her attention (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).Kinetic Rod: Functions on the same principle as Kinetic Barrier, in a weaponized form. Essentially, the Kinetic Rod is a straight beam of energy that extends from Eternity’s palm or finger toward her target. If it impacts then it will push them forward in addition to its normal rebound effect - however if they dodge then Eternity may simply wave the rod toward them as it acts like a solid object. Similarly, it can be used to deflect attacks. Its weaknesses are the same as the barrier’s. It can be extended one inch per unit of Magic Eternity has available, to a maximum of length of ~83 feet / 25.4 meters at her base level. Every unit of Magic used (i/e every inch) requires an additional percentage of her attention (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).Telekinesis: Exactly what it says on the tin, though not quite ‘true’ telekinesis as it has nothing to do with psychic power (unless one considers the manipulation of the aether as such which is possible due to how malleable it is to sheer will.) Essentially, Eternity creates a remote ‘pocket’ of aether which is then wrapped around an object and used to lift / manipulate it. The weight of the object she can lift, the amount of force that can be exerted upon it, and how far away it can be lifted from are all dependent upon her Magic, with 1 corresponding to 1 ton / 10 newtons / 1 inch. This can be overpowered if the target is stronger than Eternity’s Magic being exerted, physically, magically, or spiritually. Furthermore, Eternity’s attention is again focused on this task, with a percentage per unit of magic (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).Teleportation: Easily the most intensive of all of Eternity’s abilities, in the time it takes to calculate the variables necessary to make the teleportation all of Eternity’s attention is taken, though this is mitigated by the sheer speed at which she thinks. Statistically, she can teleport two inches per unit of Magic instantaneously to any location that she can calculate the coordinates (in relation to herself as the origin point) of. Doing so is very taxing on her, however, and she requires several moments (1s per 12 units of Magic, i/e a second per foot) to ‘cool off’ before making another.___________________________Super Techniques: Core Destabilization: Let it now be emphasized - this technique is a weapon of absolute last resort, where the situation is so completely and utterly beyond any sense of hope that not even an act of god could achieve salvation. To explain: essentially, Eternity self destructs. Deliberately, she draws an enormous sum of magic through one or all of her generators in an instant, causing it to destabilize and collapse upon itself. In essence, she turns the needle-hole in reality that is her core into a gaping rift which proceeds to expand, consuming an enormous sum of space (one mile for every unit of Magic, for a maximum of 60,000 cubic miles / 96,560.6 cubic kilometers in full Unity. Theoretically. She’s never done this before, obviously, as she would have certainly died. Truthfully, Eternity is an energetic, highly emotional individual prone to frequently switch between different emotional extremes depending on the situation - from childish wonder and happiness, to ageless cynicism and depression, to tremendous, infinite rage. An experienced observer can still see signs present in trace amounts in her actions without such a connection, but they’re muted and diminished in visibility. Curiously, the lack of true feeling doesn’t erase the impact of Eternity’s moods on her actions, only the way she goes about them.Also curiously, despite her brutal, efficient work in combat she values life highly and detests violence of any form. It is simply that despite her personal desire to avoid bloodshed, she’s aware that it is inevitable and simply too pragmatic to abstain from it when she has a task to fulfill which requires it. Similarly, she’s incredibly stubborn and refuses to accept defeat of any form - willful, temporary, or otherwise. Both these peculiar traits stem from her core programming as a “Protector” - an unbending, unyielding guardian.Phobias: Isolophobia (Fear of Being Alone), Necrophobia (Fear of a Loved One Dying.) Labelling both of these as a phobia is perhaps a misnomer - while Eternity is irrationally afraid of being alone, she is capable of coping with it for an extended amount of time. However, she is absolutely and utterly terrified of anyone under her protection dying - especially those she knows and cares for. There is no fancy name for it that I can find, but she is also afraid of ‘losing herself’ - nearly as much as she is afraid of seeing others die in front of her - and certainly far beyond the point of reason, to the degree that she has even indefinitely postponed certain vital system checks and forms of maintenance - such as defragmentation - out of paranoid fear that any piece of “junk” data she deletes could contain a core fiber of her being.___________________________ Skills Cyber-Warfare: Eternity’s creator was extremely skilled at cybernetic warfare - to the point that he was never caught, never found security he couldn’t break into, and only really stopped due to guilt. As he desired to make Eternity as capable as possible, this affinity was imparted to her as well. As a result, she’s incredibly capable at both ‘attacking’ other entities over a connection, as well as defending herself.Encyclopedia: Before he died, Eternity’s father downloaded an enormous sum of information - everything he could get his hands on with no specific topics - into her memory banks at her request, that the knowledge not be lost with the passing of her home reality. As a result she has knowledge across an incredibly broad range of fields. However, due to the vastness of this knowledge, she has difficulty remembering that it’s there unless prompted by an external factor.Hand to Hand Combat: Eternity was created with basic knowledge of hand-to-hand fighting. However, she was designed primarily to simply quickly incapacitate her opponent with her sheer strength and speed rather than actual skill, and she was only created with human threats in mind. That said, she remains capable of learning and is very good at reading a situation, allowing her to judge what is and isn’t effective. As a result, her current ‘style’ couldn’t really be recognized as an official school by any true martial artist and is rather a mix and match of whatever works against her current opponent.Use of Firearms: Eternity detests firearms as it’s hard to inflict a nonfatal injury using them, but she remains proficient in their use mostly due to her nature as a machine allowing her to handle any recoil without major difficulty, with her natural efficiency lending itself toward other functions. Firearms, after all, are simple to use in principle.___________________________ Inherent Traits and Abilities Back-Up Cores: Eternity was built to last, and her current frame exhibits this strongly with a wide variety of survival features. Chief of these are her back-up cores. Essentially, each of these cores *is* Eternity, or at least a duplicate of her, and all are capable of functioning independently and possessing of all her other abilities. When one is deactivated, the next in line automatically detects it when it doesn’t send an update on her current parameters, resulting in it activating itself with the latest backup. The ‘idle’ cores back themselves up roughly every thirty seconds - one copies her most recent information off the main core, and the others copy the information off of that core. The ultimate result of this is that unless all six of Eternity’s cores are destroyed and/or rendered nonfunctional, she will eventually recover from any damage dealt to her.Memory Recall: As a gynoid, Eternity’s recollection of any information is absolute, down to the smallest detail. She is, in fact, a living encyclopedia of most human knowledge, though there’s so much there that she has trouble recalling anything specific that might have helped her in a situation unless prompted by an external factor.Nanite Reconstruction: Eternity’s durability and incredible tenacity primarily stem from the nanites her body is composed of. Each of these is capable of reconstructing molecules into other materials, allowing them to reproduce, modify their own composition, and even synthesize independent objects entirely. As a side effect, this allows Eternity to change physical form without limit provided she has the resources on hand to make the change, as well as synthesize new materials - including complete copies of herself. However, due to her desire to avoid being ‘too unnatural’ she does not utilize these abilities beyond self-repair, which is only done due to her directives and promise to her father forcing her to prioritize her own safety.Network Interfacing: Eternity is capable of interfacing with just about any sort of piece of technology that utilizes a CPU, wirelessly if it has that capability, or by hard-point USB. It’s not an ability she uses frequently save to establish her bearings and - in extreme cases - fabricate an identity for herself.‘Unity’: Unity is, simply put, referring to Eternity utilizing more than one of her cores simultaneously and collaborating with the copy of her ‘self’ within that core. This enables her to pay attention to multiple subjects at once as well as manage more tasks. Additionally, activating another core fully multiplies her energy output as each core possess its own etheric generator. Doing this, however, stresses her psyche as - unusual as her soul is - it’s still tied to her independence as an individual, which is strained by this method. Each core, while an exact copy, remains ‘something other than her’ and sharing a body with such a thing is stressful mentally. Furthermore, her body wasn’t made to channel the amount of power that results from this safely. Thus ‘Unity’ is a tool of last resort only.___________________________ Powers Aether Manipulation: Simply put, this is exactly what it says on the tin - the manipulation of aetheric energy. After discovering its presence around her and discerning a way to observe it, Eternity has learned to consciously manipulate this energy to perform a wide variety of effects. Strictly speaking, it can be used to do anything. However, this is a technique Eternity is not very practiced with, limiting her to simpler abilities such as Telekinesis and Barriers.Aetheric Link: Eternity is powered by ‘Etheric Generators’ which are small, roughly baseball sized, modular power plants that produce power endlessly with no apparent waste-products - as if simply pulling energy ‘from the ether’ - hence the name. It turns out, however, that is literally exactly what they’re doing, resulting in an enormous amount of raw, untamed magical energy leaking out as they run. This power is extremely malleable and, as it’s being filtered through Eternity, molds itself to her. One could almost call it a nebulous extension of her soul.Aetheric Radiance: Because Eternity is constantly emitting an enormous amount of aetheric energy, it gathers around her in a nebulous aura. A ‘sphere.’ This ‘sphere’ starts out barely covering her person and grows larger in diameter the longer she remains in one place. It has no recorded maximum size. Everything within the sphere is forced to behave as Eternity expects it to. Furthermore, the sheer weight of the energy means any hostile entity within the sphere finds itself at a severe disadvantage magically. Indeed, due to its density and attunement to her will, they may find the world itself turning against them if she’s agitated enough.___________________________ Power Restrictions Aether Manipulation: Eternity’s body wasn’t designed with the channeling of aetheric energy in mind upon her creation. Indeed, it wasn’t designed to even sustain contact with it in the first place as aetheric energy was completely unknown to all involved until Eternity herself discovered it long after the end of her home. It is extremely malleable, so its presence permeating throughout her is benign and unobtrusive - though it has had a few peculiar effects such as the development of her soul. However, when she actively channels it, the energy becomes dense and concentrated enough that it begins to strain her body. Channeling too much at a time causes her to begin overheating, signals to being mixed, and generally results in a critical shutdown of all her systems. In other words, she short-circuits herself. That said, she can accomplish quite a bit before reaching this threshold due to her natural durability - statistically speaking, she can utilize roughly ten percent of her base mana safely. See the notes under her stamina for more specific details on the effects this has on her systems.Aetheric Link: Eternity’s power plants are in truth direct links to the Pure Aether, which is in essence the realm of ‘potential.’ As such they provide her with an infinite supply of energy, both electrical and arcane. However, the arcane energy in question is a contaminant to worlds not adapted to its presence and will eventually destroy their biomes entirely. In other words; Eternity is a walking Chernobyl to worlds without magic. The flow of arcane power cannot be stopped without stopping the flow of electrical power, meaning that in order to stop polluting the environment with excess mana Eternity has to shut herself down and -effectively- die. Furthermore, it was proposed to her that - as her soul was created by this energy and she’s existed alongside it for so long - separating her from it entirely by changing to a different power source could have catastrophic consequences for her. Normally this would not stop her, but her core directives - and her promise to her father - deny her the ability to deliberately and willfully harm herself for any reason short of being compromised by an external entity or having literally no other recourse but to do so in order to fulfill her other directives.Aetheric Radiance: See prior, as they overlap.___________________________ Stats Strength: Tier 2-3. Eternity deliberately limits herself to her minimal possible physical capabilities in order to be closer to human levels. Even her weakest, however, is still incredibly strong by human levels. If extremely pressed, she will begin increasing her physical capacity, capping out at the ability to handle hundred-ton objects [with each arm] before an outright change of shape would be necessary.Speed: Tier 1-2. Eternity is capable of moving up to 30 mph at in her present (limited) state, which is straddling the line for human limits. Were she to unlimit herself and restructure her musculature to move as fast as possible, she would be capable of moving at a speed of approximately 75 mph - just over twice as fast.Soul: Tier 5-7. The strength of Eternity’s spirit is proportionate to the density of her arcane might, as her soul is intrinsically connected to the aetheric energy which permeates her body. It would not be inaccurate to call any aetheric energy born through Eternity an extension of her soul.1Stamina: (<=Infinity) Theoretically infinite, Functionally variable. Assuming a lack of debilitating injuries or use of her more exotic abilities, Eternity may continue fighting more or less until the end of time without ‘tiring.’ Use of her powers lowers this proportionate to the amount used; so if she’s constantly using her powers this stat can be assumed to start at 168 continuous hours and drop by 1 for every minute of constant energy channelling. So a week of passive use (minimal, frequent pauses between spells), roughly two hours of constant use (constant firing of spells with few to no breaks). A quarter of that (~half an hour) of intensive use (constant channeling of ‘heavy’ spells without break.)Arcane Damage Output: Tier 5-7. . At her most basic level, Eternity’s magic is capable of literally warping reality around her to suit her subconscious wants if left unopposed. At the full level she’s theoretically capable of simply overwriting the rules of the universe itself, but her body isn’t made to channel this energy even though it’s present - as a result doing so excessively results in increasing damage to herself proportionate to the amount of energy being channeled. Were she to operate at “full burn” as it were, she would likely only last minutes before her body is completely destroyed, at the most.Durability: Tier 4. Nothing short of high caliber gunfire (such as an anti-material rifle) or heavy weapons will effectively harm Eternity on a single hit; repeated shots to the same area will eventually break through regardless of the caliber. Physical melee weapons are much less effective, but can also penetrate with enough effort. She is vulnerable to plasma and heat-based damage, but pure electricity is ineffective unless her armor and the insulation beneath it have both been breached. For obvious reasons, biological attacks (such as toxins, poisons, venoms, etc.) are completely ineffective.Magic Points: 1,000 (Base) - 6,000 (Full Unity). Listed for the sake of convenience when detailing the exact capabilities of Eternity’s spells. Her supply of aetheric energy is theoretically unlimited. This value is simply representative of the amount each generator can safely channel before redlining.___________________________ Spells Kinetic Barrier: “Kinetic” Barrier is something of a misnomer as, rather than a flat force of kinetic energy, it is in truth a manifestation of Newton’s Third Law - “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” In other words, the barrier exists as ‘a force directly opposed’ to whatever attack is striking it. It can be a force of motion, or something else. To elaborate: a fist throwing a punch will behave as if it were punched by an equivalent fist with equivalent force, a spell will fizzle out, a laser will hold in place ineffectively, and so on. As one might discern, these barriers are nigh-unbreakable. The primary limitation to this technique is that, like all Eternity’s spells, she has to place the majority of her attention on it to maintain it. Furthermore, due to the limitations of her aether manipulation, pressuring the shield with immense force will eventually overwhelm her ability to channel power into it. Reassuring, because the implications of hitting the barrier with force equivalent to, say, a planet’s gravity well, would result in something… catastrophic... to say the least (in practice, this essentially lets Eternity turn her Magic into Durability; if she can pay to match the damage, she takes none and the attacker takes it instead if it’s a physical melee attack). These barriers may be formed into spheres / semi-spheres with diameters equivalent to the amount of Magic Eternity has available in inches, for a maximum diameter of ~83 feet / 25.4 meters at her base level. Every unit of Magic used (i/e every inch) requires an additional percentage of her attention (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).Kinetic Rod: Functions on the same principle as Kinetic Barrier, in a weaponized form. Essentially, the Kinetic Rod is a straight beam of energy that extends from Eternity’s palm or finger toward her target. If it impacts then it will push them forward in addition to its normal rebound effect - however if they dodge then Eternity may simply wave the rod toward them as it acts like a solid object. Similarly, it can be used to deflect attacks. Its weaknesses are the same as the barrier’s. It can be extended one inch per unit of Magic Eternity has available, to a maximum of length of ~83 feet / 25.4 meters at her base level. Every unit of Magic used (i/e every inch) requires an additional percentage of her attention (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).Telekinesis: Exactly what it says on the tin, though not quite ‘true’ telekinesis as it has nothing to do with psychic power (unless one considers the manipulation of the aether as such which is possible due to how malleable it is to sheer will.) Essentially, Eternity creates a remote ‘pocket’ of aether which is then wrapped around an object and used to lift / manipulate it. The weight of the object she can lift, the amount of force that can be exerted upon it, and how far away it can be lifted from are all dependent upon her Magic, with 1 corresponding to 1 ton / 1 newton / 1 inch. This can be overpowered if the target is stronger than Eternity’s Magic being exerted, physically, magically, or spiritually. Furthermore, Eternity’s attention is again focused on this task, with a percentage per unit of magic (at a 1/100 ratio so that 1000 = 100%).Teleportation: Easily the most intensive of all of Eternity’s abilities, in the time it takes to calculate the variables necessary to make the teleportation all of Eternity’s attention is taken, though this is mitigated by the sheer speed at which she thinks. Statistically, she can teleport two inches per unit of Magic instantaneously to any location that she can calculate the coordinates (in relation to herself as the origin point) of. Doing so is very taxing on her, however, and she requires several moments (1s per 12 units of Magic, i/e a second per foot) to ‘cool off’ before making another.Rift: Let it now be emphasized - this technique is a weapon of absolute last resort, where the situation is so completely and utterly beyond any sense of hope that not even an act of god could achieve salvation. To explain: essentially, Eternity self destructs. Deliberately, she draws an enormous sum of magic through one or all of her generators in an instant, causing it to destabilize and collapse upon itself. In essence, she turns the needle-hole in reality that is her core into a gaping rift which proceeds to expand, consuming an enormous sum of space (one mile for every unit of Magic, for a maximum of 60,000 cubic miles / 96,560.6 cubic kilometers in full Unity. Theoretically. She’s never done this before, obviously, as she would have certainly died. If she does use this technique, it is likely an unintentional side effect of drawing so much power at once to counter something equally powerful.___________________________ Possessions/Equipment Armor:
- Nanite-Composite Plating (Internal): An artificial alloy impossible to replicate with any standard means of metallurgy, manipulated at the molecular level to create the most resilient substance conceivable to human understanding. It is not incredibly thick - only measuring approximately 10 cm at is most heavily defended location (the torso) - but it is extremely dense and robust. A shot from a military-grade rifle, such as a Dragunov, would only dent her forehead and ping off, as an example, though a second shot to the exact location would penetrate… and then have to get through the second layer of armor around the core in her head, itself. Effectively, Eternity is nigh impervious to small-arms fire and high caliber - or anti-vehicle - weaponry is needed to harm her. A sufficiently durable melee weapon with a significant amount of force world work as well. However, as alluded to above, Eternity’s armor is multi-layered. Her jumpsuit is actually the first layer of armor, and resembles kevlar in terms of defensive ability. Beneath that is a marginally more durable mesh. And beneath that - in the torso and head, at least - is layer of plating. Finally, her cores themselves are also plated and encased in hard armor. The end result is that Eternity is comparable to a moderately armored vehicle in terms of survivability. If she bulked up, she could match a tank in terms of durability, but the size of her current frame and her desire to remain humanlike prevent this.

___________________________ Occupation Vagrant: As of present, Eternity has no official occupation.___________________________ Past Not a weapon, but a shield. An unfaltering shield, which will never splinter, never buckle, never break… General Synopsis: Eternity was the first of the Second Series of Sigma Gynoids. She was constructed as the prototype unit, Zero’s, successor, using what could be salvaged of Zero’s data and CPU. In a way, she could be called Zero’s reincarnation. Via a method which was never disclosed to her, Eternity was sent back in time to avert the death of Iyoku Seimei, which followed the loss of Zero. In this, she was successful, though Zero was still lost. The rest of her time spent on her original world was then spent in relative peace, accompanying her ‘father’ and friends as they went through the rest of their schooling and eventually started a company specializing in software-security. Throughout this time, her ‘father’ and his friend Tachibana Miyori never stopped tinkering with her and updating her design, which eventually culminated in the Model-6 Frame, and the Aetheric Generators…This revolutionized her world. A source of unlimited, seemingly clean energy was too good to pass up - and after numerous safety tests it was publicized and spread across the globe like wildfire. However, years after it became commonplace, a side-effect became apparent - unnoticed before due to the relatively low concentration of generators. They were releasing an unnoticeable energy not native to the world as a byproduct, which was slowly and irrevocably poisoning the Earth’s biome. Despite all efforts, the source of this sickness was never discovered until Eternity herself stumbled upon it, uncounted years later, in her desperate search for any sort of life remaining after the Earth had been rendered a barren rock.The revelation that - however indirectly - she was to blame for the death of her world was nearly too much for Eternity to bear, and she would have deleted her core personality and effectively committed suicide if not for a promise she had made to her father to ‘live for eternity.’ As a result, she could only wander, grief-stricken and desperate to find some semblance of living thing and protect it, both to fulfill her core purpose… and as the only way she could possibly make any degree of amends. Eventually, even her unshaking determination could no longer propel her feet forward. After three billion years, and roughly six centuries, she could no longer delude herself. The Earth was dead. Upon its surface, she was the only thing which walked. With no hope left, but unable to die, Eternity’s only recourse was to put herself into stasis. Perhaps if she was lucky, some living being would find and awaken her. Or if the cosmos were perhaps more merciful, she would simply lay slumbering upon that burning rock, awaiting the end of time. She dreamed of being awakened, but did not dare hope for it.Then one day, she did awaken, despite all odds, on Earth - if not the Earth she knew - in the center of a city. Distraught and confused - unable to grasp her change in situation - she seeks to make absolutely certain of the veracity of the world around her. It would not be the first time she lost herself to such a pleasant dream, only for it to collapse around her, after all… ___________________________ Status Active.“...or else let me sleep, ‘til time destroys me...” 1: Due to the connection between her soul and the aether, if her soul were to be isolated from her body that connection would be maintained and she could effectively ascend into a being of pure energy if she remained conscious to do so. However, the situations where she would be conscious after her body’s destruction are very hard to conceive. And even if she succeeded, it would not be long before channelling so much raw power burned her into nothingness without a body to anchor her.
