Gaia



The world of Gaia is actually a far off planet located in the west part of the galaxy. It was controlled largely by a company called Shinra, but after key events it eventually crumbled and was replaced by The World Regenesis Organization who is headed by Rufus Shinra, who was thought to have died. Midgar was replaced with a city called 'Edge' after it was mostly destroyed by Metoer thanks to Sephiroth.

For the moment, things are stable as things are trying to be put on track but who's to say how long that will last.
