Personality: Dagon lives up to his title as a Lord, keeping a reposeful and noble air about him. He is an excellent leader and commands a level-headed confidence. He holds the quality of loyalty above all else. Betrayal is the foulest and most contemptible sin to Lord Dagon.

Restrictions: Dagon’s ‘Creature Swarm’ is as amass of himself in spirit. Each bat possesses individual sight and senses that Dagon can view as a whole. He can also feel when one is destroyed or injured.
Dagon’s regenerative property heals light wounds quickly, and quickens recovery from heavy wounds. He can also survive potentially fatal attacks.
The ‘Darkness Rise’ ability can be held for up to 15 seconds without causing strain. After this time, Dagon must focus harder and a greater amount of energy to keep the technique going.
Dagon has a high resistance to ‘dark’ type damage, and a weakness to daylight. This weakness decreases his powers and stats, but does not kill him outright.

Special Techniques:
Creature Swarm: Dagon disperses into a large cloud of swarming bats. These bats can separate from the swarm to attack foes from multiple directions, or simply to dodge attacks. Each bat possesses a venomous bite that slows enemy reaction time and saps their strength. Dagon can also release only a few bats at a time (from his cape) if he so chooses. These can act as distraction or attack from afar, or even elusively spy on other areas.
Darkness Rise: By focusing his energy, Dagon creates a zone of absolute darkness, through which only he can see. Enemies are drawn into this zone by a powerful force, and trapped for its duration. He can move and attack while this zone is in effect.
Dark Sphere: Dagon collects masses of dark energy in his palm and throws them at his foes. Travel fast and burst on contact for high dark damage. Size and power can be adjusted at-will.
Black Fang: Dagon summons a spike of dark force and drives it through his opponent. This attack is fast, and can be used from a distance (50 feet). It can be used in quick succession.
Black Claw: Similar to Black Fang, but used with Dagon’s hands as a melee. Extends his reach and deals high pierce/dark damage.
Mesmerize: Dagon numbs an opponent’s body by looking directly into their eyes and surging his own energy to crush their will. This technique does not take over the target’s mind, but temporarily lowers their movement speed, strength and defenses.

Super Techniques:
Chaotic Rend: Dagon summons a large ‘Darkness Rise’ zone, trapping all nearby enemies. He then sends countless ‘Black Fang’ attacks through each foe and crushes the zone for the finale.
A Mind Asunder: A boosted version of ‘Mesmerize’. Dagon projects hellish images into the opponent’s mind, shattering their will to fight. The opponent is physically immobilized for the duration of this technique, and becomes completely unaware of their surroundings while under its effect.
Storm of the Night: Dagon releases a torrent of bats from his cape that fly above his foes, then rain down in the form of black spikes. Each spike has high piercing power. Dagon can continue to fight, unaffected by this attack. He cannot fly or use ‘Creature Swarm’ while this attack is in effect, however.

Super Forms:
The Will of The Lord: Lord Dagon unleashes his energy in the form of a black aura that surrounds him. His eyes glow red and his voice becomes deeper. His stats increase drastically and wounds heal very quickly. This technique costs quite a bit of energy, tiring Dagon out after its use.
True Form: Lord Dagon assumes his beast form, a large bat. His stats double in this state and all energy attacks deal massive damage. Dagon can also let loose a supersonic screech in this form that can tear apart and demolish nearby objects, armor and people alike.

Weapons and Precious Items: Dagon can summon a large sword from dark energy. This sword can be broken by powerful magic, but it can be reconstructed by Dagon’s own energy quickly.

History: Lord Dagon was born and raised into nobility within Makai. His father reigned as the Lord of Kaalastine for many a year before Dagon’s birth. He was given the highest quality of education possible by way of martial, physical and mental tutoring. It hadn’t taken long for Dagon to recognize the malicious intent behind Lord Evander’s regime.
The state of the country was forcibly kept in check. Power resided with those who possessed money. Relations with neighboring countries were aggressive at best, oppressive at worst. Rather than ruling his own people with a reasonable stance, Dagon found that his father was ruthless and power hungry. He abused his power to no end, even going so far as to keeping a ‘staple of women’ at his beck and call. Their servitude was not voluntary in the slightest.
At the age of 25, Dagon challenged his father for his title and the country, believing he would make a far better ruler. Remarkably, he defeated his father outright, slaying him in the ensuing duel. Thus, he rose to power and governed his people back toward a peaceful and prosperous economy. The land of Kaalastine has seen a drastic improvement in living conditions and international relations ever since.
Sometime after securing his country’s well-being, Dagon decided to travel the world and witness it for himself. He was appalled by the poor status of the world; it was as if his father’s tainted ways had seeped into the world itself. During his travels he met an alluring vampiress by the name of Dacia Lowell. Their initial meeting led to a friendship that budded into love throughout the years. He fathered a son out of wedlock with her, but was determined to be a far greater guardian than his own. He stuck around and taught his son, Valvatorez, all of his knowledge in fighting, politics, the world, and every subject he learned himself.
He still resides over Kaalastine to this day and seeks to better the world’s overall condition.
