Physical Description: Brown, shaggy hair and beard that cover the majority of his face, hiding his light blue eyes. His weapon holsters and gadgets are kept inside. Despite his tall and skinny physique, he's rather lithe and has excellent balance.

Personality: When he's on the job, Lars has a disposition that sits somewhere between pensive and cynical. He does enjoy his work, but demons and criminal types aren't usually interested in diplomacy. Otherwise, he's cheerful in his own right. Due to his distaste in paperwork, he can come off as lazy. Lars is a heavy drinker, but can control his inhibitions sober or not.

Restrictions: He can fight for one full day before getting tired, his Mana keeps his body from tiring too easily. When using Mana Seals, more energy can be focused for stronger/larger attacks, but this leads to fatigue. Concentrating on a seal (boosting beyond normal power) requires Lars to stand still. Lars can call seals within a 300 foot radial range.
While intoxicated or drunk, Lars' hand-to-hand improves greatly, as does his focus within a short distance. His long distance vision blurs, however, and his Mana consumption is disrupted and seals become unusable.

Weapons and Precious Items: Lars carries a series of tech received from Nobus. His main weapons are a stun blade and energy whip. The stun blade is a blunt saber with a powerful electric charge; used to stun foes. The energy whip is a solid whip that can be extended beyond its natural length. He also carries a bottle opener received from his father after their first drink together.

Mana Seal ~ Fire: Blast fireballs or mini-explosions toward foes. With higher concentration, massive fireballs that explode on impact can be called forth.
Mana Seal ~ Ice: Shoot shards of ice to pierce foes. With higher concentration, larger icicles can be released and multiple ice seals can be used simultaneously within range.
Mana Seal ~ Wind: Blow a gust of wind to deter projectiles, blow targets off balance, or maneuver about midair. With higher concentration, stronger winds can be applied to blow away heavy enemies or create controlled tornadoes.
Mana Seal ~ Lightning: Shock a target with a surge of lightning. With a higher concentration, a larger seal can be created, within a longer range, which will release a massive burst of electricity.
Mana Seal ~ Life: Boost the target's recovery with Mana. Cures light - medium wounds and ailments. With higher concentration, it can be used to stabilize (but not completely heal) a dying target.

Mana Seal ~ Light: Summon a large, spherical seal in a 3-dimensional radius around the target. Multiple thin beams of light shoot from every direction to pierce the target's defenses. As light fills the sphere, a shining and lethal explosion of Mana finishes the target. Explosion and beams of light are restricted to the attack radius, limiting collateral damage. Good for executing armored or immobilized foes. Requires immense amounts of Mana and concentration. Mana consumption varies in usage, dependent upon attack radius size.
Mana Seal ~ Dark: Summon a large dark seal below the target. Massive dark tendrils erupt from the seal to bind targets; each tentacle forcefully saps their victim's strength to physically exhaust them. Targets will eventually be incapacitated by the non-lethal attack. Good for subduing oversized foes or large groups. Requires immense amounts of Mana and concentration. Mana consumption varies in usage, dependent upon seal's size.

History: As a child, Lars was kidnapped from his home by magic extremists. Numerous children of varying races were forced into experimentation that endowed the few survivors with enhanced and diverse abilities. Lars' body was modified to process and control Mana. Within only six months he laid waste to the facility and released the remaining test subjects back to their homes. Rather than despising his body, Lars worked to control his newfound powers. Neither of his parents possessed supernatural abilities, but they were supportive of his positive and determined demeanor.
After completing college, Lars joined his local police department to
legally fight crime. In a few short years crime dissipated to an all time low, but Lars felt his abilities were grossly underutilized. Catching wind of Nobus through a first-hand encounter, he decided to take the entrance exam and help rid Earth Realm of hazardous scum. Lars quickly found the job to be right up his alley.
