Personality: Avril is a straight forward person, for the most part. She's very self reflective and finds herself thinking about a variety of things, at any given time. While Avril thinks the opposite, many people would actually call Avril a gentle person.
She has a weakness for small, cute things. Something she keeps close to her chest.

History:
Avril was born on the planet Izzaloth as part of a project to make 'human-like' androids suited for things such as taking care of children and similar task along with others. Though geared towards that sort of thing, having a will of their own they were in the end free to choose their own path when they came of age since they started off as children.
Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to last.
The company, named Maxell Enterprise was taken over by hostile parties who had a interest in the V-X program and the theoretical limitless potential they possessed. The goal was to modify them a bit more suited for the goal of making essentially super assassins. Maxwell enterprise though a civilian and peaceful company had many non weaponized things that could be turned into something more suited for the goals they had in mind.
To prevent them from outright completely rebelling, certain programming was put in to keep them on the leash as far as that and following orders. When they got old enough, they were sent on various missions to test their capabilities and overall. Lorenzo Maxwell, unable to put up with things anymore killed himself via hanging and many of his secrets were lost when he ended his life.
This was a huge set back but they continued with more or less on the same path. Avril, as a result of things she's done developed a self loathing and self worth complex along the way. The V-X were known as 'killers who took delight in pain'. It wasn't actually true, but when the forced programming was kicked it certainly added to that mystique which is what the Izzaloth governments wanted.
On one particular mission, Avril was to kill someone who was to inherent certain property when they became of age. This lead Avril to Alus where she got into a fight with the last remaining Alphalim Varia, that though less then a fraction of what they once were was more then a match for Avril.
She thought she died. She should have died. Instead, she found herself in a new world named Halkgenia as the familiar and later friend of a girl named Louise.
The only clue of her survival was some faded words.
