History: Justin had a pretty normal life. That is up until he was 11 years old. 11 years old. That's when his life changed. It was a foggy afternoon in his home town of Thurles, a van pulled up to his fathers pub and 6 men got out. Just a wee boy Justin made his way to the back where his father and the men were talking. It started out low and hushed. However there was a hint of urgency to his fathers voice. Soon the voices were raised and speaking in a language Justin couldn't understand.
When his father brandished a fire arm the 6 men closed in on him. There was a struggle and the gun went off. When the men moved back his father collapsed to the floor. A single gunshot to his chest. Justin screamed and charged into the room knocking one of the men over. He ran to his father and placed his hands on his chest. "F-Father... I-I don't know what to do."
His father simply smiled, pointed to his chest, "Know who ye are me lad." Then his hand dropped and the life left him. By the time Justin got to his feet the men were gone.
For seven years Justin pondered his fathers words. He worked in his family's pub and helped raise his brothers and sisters. When he and his twin brother turned 18 Deaglan moved to america and joined the army. A year later his convoy was destroyed by an I.E.D. Justin was devastated. He and his brother shared a connection and he felt it when his brother died. His mother and sisters didn't believe him. Called him a coward for not following his brother.
When the news finally hit home it was a time of mourning. This brought the family closer. It was then Justin realized that it was the politicians who gave the orders. They sent men and women to their deaths. There he wanted to make a difference. So Justin continued his studies and he made his family proud.
Justin now 27 was one of the youngest ambassadors to be appointed to the position. When Justin was appointed ambassador to Italy his family rejoiced. With the exception of his mother. With all his work it didn't leave him any time for a social life. "I want grand babies. You had better find yerself a nice lass and settle down." Was the topic of every phone call he had with his mother.
Because of his age Justin was the subject of many controversial rumors. One had him taking bribes, others had him involved in a government conspiracy. Some of the more outlandish reports had him fornicating with the maids across Italy. Because of his need for privacy a lot of these rumors were left unchecked. He was also widely unpopular with his opinions to oppose anything related to war. he always tried to find a diplomatic solution. This led to many veiled threats and even once an attempt on his life.
No matter the cost he'll try and prevent war even if it costs him his life.
