But as with all things time had taken it's tole, His first defeat left him partially blind and had severed his right arm, So then he dropped off the face of the earth. He spent along time in Hyrule. The Triforce granted him immortality. And he studied weapons all of them. So now after Eons of training..... he has become, The Edge Master.
Soon after the invasion my the Gerudo Empire The Edge Master sought out the Legendary Master Sword. Being Chosen by the Three Golden Goddesses he now wields the mystical blade until the Hero of Time returns to claim it. That is... if he's worthy. The Edge Master Joins the Rebellion against King Dragmire however he is reluctant to fight. Most think because he's old and stays behind to train new recruits. His true motives remain shrouded in mystery. This isn't to say he doesn't fight. He only chooses his battles carefully.
