Lark looked up at the large Patrian in front of him "What is so interesting about our world that brings you, and whatever those...Things were here?" Most pre-space-flight worlders would perhaps be shocked or suprised to find out that life exsists on other worlds..But it seems Avalacian's wasnt suprised by the concept whatsoever. Lark holstered his pulser and lifted his hand up to stroke his right cheek as he looked at the dead Patrian being hooked up to the cable of the buggy "Eh...Also..sorry about your Comrade..." Lark still didnt seem too sure how to do a conversation with the Patrians.

The insides of the Syntax drone seemed highly advanced, nano-tech and varies other mechanism, as well as multiple receivers. The Drone however didnt seem to store the mainframe of the AI, so must only serve as the AI's physical control in the outside world.
"So...What now?" Lark asked towards the Patrians

Meanwhile on the other side of Dragon-Valley other things were unfolding. Mayor Zao of Shang Mu had attacked the Ancient Temple housing the Kingdom Stone, in a clever maneuver disguising his troops as Pilgrims before Ambushing the Troops of Shang Tu guarding it. This had resulted in the Kingdom Stone being takken to Shang Mu.

Despite the warnings to the General guarding the Temple from two fairly known Locals, Sash Lilac the Water-Dragon, and Carol Tea the Wildcat. The General had turned down their warning and Zao's forces had completed their tasks. Tensions are growing.

Agatha eventually located what she was looking for and pulled it from the wrecked drone while Yannick stalked away from Lark to survey the dead Coalition shuttle crew, eventually kneeling in an awkward seeming movement to recover one of their own communications devices.  That, and identifying the dead crew's uniforms would help the Patrians identify them, and in turn could try to get a message to Coalition.

"They died fighting.  That's all that matters."  Yannick shrugged, a barely perceptible movement in his heavy armour, "You have a breathable atmosphere.  Plants.  Animals.  Water.  We spotted your planet with deep space observatories, but didn't realize there was intelligent life here until we came close enough to pick up your earliest radio signals.  We may not be able to colonize this planet now, but Higher decided to take a closer look."  Yannick stood again, the near silent whine of servos and machinery complaining against taking on the weight of his armour again, then Yannick stomped over to Agatha to carry the fallen drones' comms system over to the Razor.

"Planets like yours are rare in the galaxy, Lark.  Rarer still that they are not already claimed.  Whether by an indigenous species or another space-faring race."  There was little they could do about the bodies or wrecked Shade Troopers that littered the field.  The Severity could risk sending a shuttle down to clean up the scene, but they would need to wait until they were certain the area was clear of local inhabitants.

A series of waypoint markers appeared on Yannick's HUD system, leading deeper into the woods and the direction Torque had fled after the crash, and a warning of weapons discharge at the Temple.  "Agatha, you should head back to camp.  I will try to track the survivor."

Agatha walked around the Razor and waved for Lark to come around to the seat he had first occupied.  A monitor there lit up, displaying an aerial view of the valley, and the Temple in particular.  "Your people seem to have been fighting over this facility.  From what Higher was able to observe, the facility's defenders were overrun.  Some sort of power source was taken and is being moved.  The real question is, what are you going to do now?"

Lark looked at the Patrians, looking at Agatha and then Yannick before talking "Ill go help find the survivor... Just seems like the right thing to do" his ears flickered alittle again then his eyes went wide in some sort of realition as he saw the display a clear sign of horror "The Kingdom-Stone! You said someone has attacked the temple and..and..Takken it!? That cannot stand!" Lark seemed to be takking heavy breath, and grabbed his small gem necklace muttering somthing lowly to himself.

"Doing somthing like that is sacrilege! I have to do somthing!" Whatever that Kingdom-Stone is, it seemed to be of very high spritual or religious significance to Lark or perhaps more Avalacians? What was for certain however, Lark seemed furious, determined and set on heading there to find out more.

The Coalitions technolegy would be easy to get to use, if one could read it to find out. But it appears fairly high-tech, using it would be a simple affair

The idea of something being sacrilege wasn't entirely foreign to the Patrians.  They had no organized religion, and years of war had numbed them somewhat to the horrors that could be unleashed, but at least academically the concept was soundly understood.  On the other hand, they didn't exactly have the resources, or the right, to interfere in local conflicts.

Of course, that did not include things like the Shade Troopers or whomever they worked for, or the Coalition.  Those were from off-world, and in the eyes of the Patrians, was fair game.

Yannic knelt next to one of the dead Coalition marines, and calmly routed through the dead man's pockets, pulling any devices or weapons of interest, while Lark soaked in the news of the attack on the holy site, and Agatha pulled a device from a compartment on the buggy, which she tossed towards Lark.  "Yannic will search for the survivor alone, if you wish to go to the shrine.  We can use that to track and contact you if need be, but if you do choose to do go alone, we would appreciate if you let no one know of us or our involvement here."

Lark with catlike reflexes (as to be expected) grabbed the device and looked over it "And whats this supposed to be then?" The Coalition marines had varioues things on them small blasters, batteries, and simple small holo-discs along with various engineering and hacking tools.

"The temple is too far away from here, i wouldnt get there in time for anything. But somthing like this isnt allowed to happen! It's unheard of!" Lark's eyes shifted between all the Patrians, it was clear he was in some sort of panic or shock and not clear of what to do with himself, where to head, who to go with...
