General Description: Patrians run the same gambit of sizes and appearances as the humans of Earth. A fine example of Convergent Evolutionary Theory, in which unrelated species evolve similar or even identical traits. While Patrians and the humans of Earth share no common ancestry, they are nearly identical. Cybernetic implants and organ/limb replacement are common in combat veterans, however thanks to advanced technology such things are cosmetically fitting.

Origin: Patria, a now dead planet in the Patrian solar system. Once very similar to Earth, but with higher gravity.

Language: English. Once upon a time, the Patrian peoples had dozens of languages, but with the transition from their homeworld to living off-planet, a common tongue quickly became necessary. There is a heavy ancient Latin theme, however.

Personality: Much like humans, their personality runs the gambit of possibility. However, after the war with the machine fleet, much of the population have become serious and focused, committed to the good of the whole rather then to personal wealth. Near to 70% of the entire race were directly involved in the war, and their personalities reflect that.

Physical Description: Normal humans, however often a bit on the pale side due to living inside space stations and underground colonies.
