History:
A native-born to the Bleeding Plains, it was a rare occurrence that one of her ancestors found the cloaked volcano and integrated with the native tyrannosaurus. For awhile, her ancestors lived in harmony with the other t-rex, until her great grandfather and his family migrated outside of the cloak and into the Bleeding Plains; easily finding their roots once more.
Azora lived peacefully in the Bleeding Plains for hundreds of years and, after her parents died, migrated across the land. During her travels, she met another Kerlodian, a survivor from another world. He was kind once, stern as the icy tundra he once lived on, but gentle and considerate. They had a child but not long after his birth, Gorzak heard rumors of other survivors from his planet. He left with a heavy heart, not sure how long he would be apart from his family, but he had to know if his other family members and friends had survived.
What seemed to be a short amount of time for Azora and her son, time passed differently for Gorzak on his world. He returned two hundred years older and much more battle-scarred and cold. His love for his wife and child had not disappeared, but he was changed and had become a menace.
After a great battle, Azora fled the Bleeding Plains with Chak and her instincts led her back to the hidden land above the Plains where she nursed her wounds and raised her son. Her mate turned tail and ran, after he realized how much he'd hurt his lover and left. In the years to come, she and her son would infrequently run into Gorzak and he would spend time with his son. But in most instances, Azora would fight him off to keep Gorzak from taking the child from her.
Though they lived an isolated life in the caverns and dens around the volcano, Azora would make routine trips to meet the Heat Bloods on occasion to teach Chak about other races and socialize him more. It was also the safest place to harbor him when she took her human form; while a fierce Kerlodian, Azora was much weaker in her human form. She would be virtually defenseless if Gorzak attempted to take her son from her, and so staying with the Heat Bloods safeguards from that.
