History:
In this Multiverse, there is practically limitless possible outcomes and differences from minor to major to how incidents turn out. In Natalia's time-line, which is dubbed X12 is hundreds of years ahead of what would be considered the 'normal' time-line of the standard Z-Fighters. The earth, since before had a harder time defending itself; besides the Z-Fighters there was hardly any beings strong enough to deal with the kinds of threats they had faced and the humans found themselves having to adapt or die out.
Prior to this, Ki Manipulation was spread by the renewed Turtle School(started by Krillin) and the friendly rival Crane School, as started by Tien. This, along with scientific studies of Ki added a boom to the research and overall demand for it. Humans became more adept fighters but were still lacking overall. This was also the time Namekian's settled on earth with their new home destroyed; and the 'Majin' race was started by the reformed Buu who had wanted to see those kinds of bonds for themselves. There was also a handful of surviving Sayains from a small colony that ended up settling on earth.
These factors overall strengthened earth to a stronger power, though they were still behind the other major plays technologically wise. Natalia was a scientist tasked with learning what she could about Ki and the like to make earth's new defenders all the more effective. She loved her job, though at times it became tedious.
Some years later, Natalia discovered a young Majin and Sayain girl both around the same age who seemed to have been abaddoned. Always having a soft heart and unable to stop herself, she ended up adopting them both. These two would be named Celias and Zitai respectively. For a time things went uneventful(as uneventful as having two super powered kids raised as her own can, anyway) but she did get married later and have a biological child of her own in Danleen.
Despite Zitai's potential, she never pushed her to fight nor did she ever allow any people of the government try to draft her into the new Earth Special Forces. Generous as some of the offers were.
Due to tampering with time-streams by a enemy in that dimension, Natalia and the rest of her family were cut off from home and sent here. Since then they've been adjusting to a world that is somewhat like their own, but at the same time
very different.
