General Description: A race originally from the planet Krypton, they are now in various planets and colonies though their new home is New Krypton. They resemble humans and can't be told apart by a glance but have a variety of incredible powers.
Kryptonian's along with those like Alus, are considered one of the big superpowers as far as space goes.

Home Lands:
Their homeworld, New Krypton was founded about five hundred years ago after their original world was destroyed due to their own star becoming unstable. It's a beautiful and lush land that resembles earth, though the gravity is slightly heavier. It's been theorized that a combination of gravity and Kryptonian's unique solar bodily structure gave rise to their powers.
They are advanced technology wise, about on par with the Alusarian's though below the Eldarian's. When normal humans find themselves on New Krpton, their techology allows them to 'adjust' the gravity in certain areas to make it safer. They use a variety of special crystals for their building and technological needs.
Each Kryptonian family, or House, is represented by a pictographic crest or symbol, often worn by the head of the house. The House of El, for example, is represented by a shape similar to the English letter "S". Superman wears this same symbol on his costume, which therefore serves a dual purpose: it displays his Kryptonian heritage as well as functioning as the "S" for Superman. Male Kryptonians are identified by hyphenated names which identify both themselves and their houses, such as "Jor-El" and "Kal-El" (of the House of El). Female Kryptonians have one given name, but take their father's name as their last name. For example, Kal-El's mother is named Lara Lor-Van, taken from her father's name (Lor-Van)

Language: Besides their native language, they often learn common.

Personality: Kryptonian's have a human outlook and mind set for the most part. A notable example being Clark Kent himself and those related.

Physical Description: As noted, there is nothing that really tells them apart from normal humans. Due to their enhanced biology, they burn up their food at a very fast rate so they are usually more on the slimmer side; not counting muscles and general mass.

Life-Span: They can live a upward to 300 years.

Name: In their native culture, they have somewhat exotic-sounding names. As mentioned, male Kryptonian's have hyphenated names identifying both themselves and their houses. Females usually take their father's name, but its not a hard rule. For those who live off world and into other cultures, the races they live around may or may not influence names to one degree or another.

Relations: Kryptonian's are generally all right with other races, though a few notable friendships are Alusarian's, the Eldarian's and that general circle. They have a very small presence on earth; mostly a trade going on as despite earth's small size there's various things only found there.

Superhuman stats
Naturally, all of their race have superhuman stats. This is mostly due to evolving in such a way that solar energy actually empowers them physically. They aren't powerless without a sun; though they half strength without it. As far as races go, they are among one of the strongest without external power ups(I.E. Ki, magic or some other learnbale energy) A average member can lift about fifteen tons, move at mach one speeds, fight for a few hours without resting and take rpg rounds to the face.
It's theorized there's a biokinetic field that naturally sorrunds them. This would explain why clothes aren't damaged either in battle at times; since it protects them as well. They can increase these stats by fighting and training.

Flight: All Kryptonian's can fly, but its a skill they have to pick up or learn on their own.

X Ray vision:
Another learned skill, all members can learn to see through walls and other objects. They can't see through lead, and a host of others.

Heat Vision: By concentrating their solar energy, they can fire beams from their eyes to burn enemies. Over use can naturally tire them. A skilled enough use can add more physical kinetic force behind it.
(EX) Super Breath
They have a variety of 'super breath'. First of which is simply blowing very hard; creating enough wind force to blow something away(strength depending on the Kryptonian in question) the second is they can, oddly freeze targets by cold breath. The second being a more advanced skill.

Deep Space survival: Kryptonian's can breath in space. They can also tolerate the harshness of it just fine along with other hostile environments. They have extreme resistance to heat based damage, to the point stars don't effect them(it being a source of their power after all). In addition, Kryptonian's are on average fairly intelligent.

Magic and Kryptonite Weakness:
Their race has a natural weakness to it, and magical damage does more damage then normal against them. They also have a harder time then most races learning such arts themselves, though not impossible.
They also have a weakness to pieces of their own old destroyed home world. Exposure to Kryptonite can cause pain, tiredness and other negative effects. Enough exposure can be fatal, but the effects become apparent quickly when in the presence of one.
