Skills:
Kingfisher: As agile as the fishing bird, while in human form, she is able to catch fish with her bare hands. Learned from watching the little birds themselves.
Deer walking: From watching the quiet, gentle creatures, she can slink around a forest or town without disturbing anyone. Quiet and graceful in her step as the woodland mammal.
Archery/Crossbow: Learned at a young age in one of her many past lives, she has always preferred the long range weapon. The arrows or bolts themselves act as an extension of her 'talons'; like those of a bird swooping in for the kill.
Knife wielding: Likes the use of small knives instead of swords as they are closer to the hand and easier to hold and flip about. Like real little claws of a bird.
Stats: Over her years being reborn, she has gained the wisdom to read people and gauge their strengths and weaknesses after watching them for awhile. In battle, after a few attacks, it may become easier to predict the opponent's attack pattern or style.

Abilities:
Running: Able to run a long time without tiring due to having larger lungs and a larger heart. At speeds and and stamina comparable to the fastest Derby racehorse.
Eagle eye: Sight as strong as an eagles'.
Flight: When she is strong enough, Illia may come into her wings. Red, feathery wings like a little angels', they enable her to flutter and fly a short distance and height. When she gets to her twenties she can fly longer distances.
Unerasable Memory: Because it is her duty to remember the things that happened to her, Illia will never forget one moment of any of her past lives. Instead of taking thousands of years to recall, each life she lived is remembered each day; all going backwards from the moment she died in the previous life to the life before that ect. It all flows together like one remembering one's childhood. While at times it appears that she forgets its merely because she is preoccupied forging new memories for the current life she is living.

Personality: Initially quiet and calculating but once she has judged a person's character she opens up fairly quickly. Very sweet and charming. She can still be introverted at times but thats because she has had many relationships, both romantic, friendly, rivalry, ect. and always worries about making more. Even when her loved ones die she will continue on and at times it hinders her ability to make and hold onto friends.

Powers:
Fire Absorption: Since it is her natural element, Fire will always heal her.
Fire Manipulation: To be able to wield fire magic and manipulate it. This comes as almost second nature to her as she can cast a flame with the snap of her fingers; whether the element is present or not.
Flame Body: She can ignite her body into a burst of flame. Acts as a flame shield but stronger. When fire is absorbed while using this, it heals her.
Resurrection: The focal point of her power lies within her, her embodiment of the Phoenix, and naturally she can die and become reborn. As soon as she dies her body turns to ash she begins to reconstruct herself again. Like the myth of legend, she rises from her own remains and assumes the appearance of a young girl. The moment she can function again, Illia regains memory of the time she dies and goes backwards. Even if her ashes are scattered, with time, they naturally pull back together in order for her body to restore itself.
Regeneration: Able to regenerate body parts and organs. This keeps her from having to revive completely from ash all the time. At the same time, it is incredibly painful.

Restrictions:
All forms of Fire magic can be put out with Water magic. But damage is multiplied when used against Wind magic.
Resurrection: If she can help it, Illia must plan her place of death. Should she fail to do this she could be captured by those who would try to steal away her power. That which lies in her heart. The heart of the Phoenix, that which holds passion and life, is her vital point. If she is injured there she will die instantly. So long as the heart is in one's possession, he or she may own the proud avian.
Regeneration: The limit to this, again, is her heart. Once damaged it will almost instantly kill her every time. Other limits include, but not limited to, incomplete healing. Say a bone is set wrong, there is no way to fix it unless she dies and is reborn perfect again; which can take up to a year if she had lived an extensive life before.

History:
She was created to be a Season. To represent Summer, fire, and knowledge. Her presence brings good fortune and wealth. At the end of her seemingly eternal cycle, she will join the Dragon in chaos and harmony; wedded eternally and then to ascend the heavens. She, the empress, and he, the emperor, will bring an era of peace to the heavens which will in turn benefit all on Earth.
After all her time on Earth, Illia can remember all of her lives except for her first. It was, she theorized, because the first pain of Earth she had to endure was that of a stillborn. To have one's life end before it's first breath. After that, she perished as a young child, later an older child dying of disease. This vicious cycle continued until she'd finally reached an old age and died of that. By then, humans had discovered other lands to migrate to and thus began to encounter one another. She perished when one found and robbed her, then in a small skirmish, and once after rape. Humans knew now end to cruel death.
It wasn't until they became civilized that she found peace. While she didn't judge those that harmed her nor did she mourn the crimes committed against her, Illia absorbed all of her experiences and information. It was a second nature to her, it was her duty.
With each life lived she learned many things. The joys and sorrows of the humans. Those things that filled the mind when one's heart is sick with infatuation or the darkness that enveloped the soul when a loved one was wronged. All these emotions and more would always be remembered within her. By now, she has probably lived every sort of lifestyle. Poverty, wealth, being cared for and being ignored. No matter how hard her life was though, Illia always had the strength to go on.
It is unknown if she may ever bear children. She has had many lovers and husbands in the past. Supposedly only the Blue Dragon of the East may give her offspring as they are destined for one another in the stars. He is her true mate and Emperor, it is he that she will serve, when the time comes.
