Character Name: Aisu Otohime
----
Alias: "Little Ice Princess"
------
Apparent Age: 18
------
Origin: Coast of Norway, date unknown
------
Race: Vampire/Other
--------
Height: 5'5
----
Weight: 104 lbs
-------
Gender: Female
--------
Physical Description:
Made of a lithe build, and skin paler than her companions. Her blue eyes match the color of her hair; icy and cold. Reflecting the sky of the snowy land she came from.
-----------------
Known Relatives: None in memory.
-------------
Religion: Follows whatever Tora instructs and believes that the vampiress knows just about everything.
---------
Skills:
Hand to hand combat is her attack style of choice, preferring to make certain that her opponent is dead. Unlike Moira, she silences her victims quickly and with as little bloodshed as possible.
--------------
Abilities:
Sensitive Senses: Vampiric hearing, sight, and scent. Much better than the average human's. Her strength as well is unparalleled. Even more powerful than Tora, she can stop a speeding train or toppling building. Though not nearly as fast, she is on par with Moira in terms of speed.
Moonlight: She is the most beautiful of the three when under moonshine. Her hair shines and glitters as though with starlight, her skin is smooth as wax and her eyes glow warmly like sapphire. If anything, her demeanor is as enchanting as her visage, rendering those that look upon her speechless and turn into her slaves.
--------
Alignment: Neutral-good
------------------------------
Personality: The quiet, shy one. She is the gentlest of the gentle vampires, taking pity even on animals when she had to feed on them. Humans were no different. She has not killed a single human to date.
------------
Powers:
- Spoiler:
Ice manipulation: For reasons unknown, Aisu can control the element of ice; or rather temperature as she can drop it cold enough to freeze water. Without anyone to teach her, she can only create ice if there is water around and only if the temperature is lukewarm to cool; otherwise there would not be enough water in the air to compress into frostier weather.
Hail: If she focuses her power upon the sky if it is expected to rain, or it begins to rain, she can lower the temperature of the atmosphere to make it hail. This is only possible within the surrounding area or town.
Frozen Skin: Her skin is tough as diamond and smooth and cold as ice. Few things can pierce, let alone scratch her.
---------
Restrictions:
The greatest restriction to Aisu is her compassion for others. She won't fight unless its to protect her coven members and even then she wouldn't fight to kill. A part of her still existed that kept her from killing; her soul.
Because she has a soul, Aisu is the easiest and yet hardest to kill of them all. With her refusal to openly attack others she gives too many opportunities to strike to kill. That being said, the only way to kill her is to stab and set her heart aflame. The kindling of choice: Elder. She is also weak in the presence of Amber and Gold.
----------------------
Weapons and Precious Items: None.
----------------
Phobias: Memories, the fear that she had done something bad in her former life that deserved wandering the earth for eternity feeding off of others. That one day she might accidentally kill a human.
-------------
Illnesses: Amnesia and Vampirism.
---------------
Sexual Preferences: Opposite gender.
---------------
Occupation: Follows Tora like a duckling.
------------
History: She awakened on a beach on the northernmost tip of Norway. No memory or recollection of how she'd gotten there or how she was even born, Aisu wandered many, many years. Lost, homeless, afraid. She could do nothing but continue walking wherever her feet took her. Humans frightened her with their fire, for she loved the cold, and when she drew near them her hunger startled her even more. But something inside her refused to strike a human, even when they so foolishly approached her, cheeks red, eyes trusting.
Centuries had passed and she remained in the northern lands, protected by the constant overcast weather until the 1700s. She'd always made it a habit to stay away from humans and never met other vampires besides herself. The first ones she did were Tora and Moira. They seemed pleasant enough to be around, though dangerous, but they accepted her like no one else could. She felt safe with them and adored Tora from the day she allowed her in the coven. Since then she followed Tora as though she were her mother. Never questioning, always trusting the wise vampire.
True History (Warning: this is a 'real' spoiler):
- Spoiler:
It had been long ago, before people even dreamt of travel overseas, there were communities of humans wandering the earth. Exploring its untouched beauty and realizing the danger the world showed to protect itself. In one of these innocent new towns, a very special girl was born. She had the gene that turned her eyes bright and green as the luscious grass and hair that glistened like the sun. The baby girl was named Autrum for the golden light that seemed to follow her everywhere she went and brought happiness wherever she tread. In this time, gods, demons, monsters and the like roamed the earth freely and have frequent contact with humans. Naturally, no one could miss the special child with these recessive genes uncommon in that era. The first to fall upon her was a ravenous monster that usually kidnapped and ate children, but for the first time he wanted to keep her for his own. For weeks the girl was missing until one day she returned, asleep, in the arms of a most valiant swordsman. He returned her to her family and promised to protect her and the village but only if she would be given to him for his wife when she came of age. In that time this sort of thing was natural; marriage for protection, marriage for wealth, it was all the same. Surprisingly, the man disappeared the next day but vowed that the town would be under his protection and if it were attacked she would be free from the oath her parents gave.
Years passed and she came into her child bearing age but still, the swordsman did not come. She entered her eighteenth year when her parents decided to revoke the agreement. Upon promising her to another man, a very skilled hunter in town, they were about to be wedded when a fierce storm broke across the land. Large chunks of ice hailed down upon the townspeople, killing many while Autrum remained unharmed. Few people remained the next day, her groom was not one of them, and from the horizon came the swordsman she was promised to. Like something fairy tales were inspired by, she recognized him and fell in love instantly. He remained youthful after all that time and appeared again as her protector after the awful storm; unaware that he'd been the cause. The man attempted to take her to a frozen realm akin to Hel and when she resisted he tried to console her. Forcing her to marry him in the icy world, she was no longer a happy young woman full of vigor and youth. As the days passed in this underworld, Autrum slowly lost the will to live and her life slipped slowly away.
Only her gentleness and understanding kept her going, feeling guilty if she was to leave him alone. The young demon lord was aware of this and try as he might he couldn't please her. When the last of her life threatened to flutter away against either of their wills, he transformed her into a creature the world had not the notion yet to cower from. His magic, mostly dark, corrupted her and for awhile she was happy with him. Until one day, in the icy halls of the castle, she saw her reflection and, not recognizing herself, she gave a gasp. Horrified that she was no longer bright and shining, instead now a near corpse, the woman fled the castle in search of the world she'd left behind. Angry and feeling betrayed, the woman cursed him; but you could not simply curse a young god. It rebounded and hit her full force, completing the transformation and turning her into something beautiful and wicked. Now she thirsted for blood and was barred from enjoying full sunlight. Desolate and ready to end her life, the god loved her still and wove a spell of peace over her. She would not have her memories of their time together or of the oath she that she was bound to him. She would awaken alone, lost, an empty shell with no memories in roughly a thousand years. Whether she would remember anything or not was up to how she felt and if her heart remembered him and truly wanted to recall her former life.
