Personality: Sesshomaru has since become much kinder then he used to be, mostly thanks to Rin and his time with humans. He however, still isn't much of a talker and is rather reclusive.
Powers: Super human stats. Can generate an energy whip. Can survive normally fatal wounds. Has a faster then normal healing rate. Demonic energy manipulation.

Though he Can survive normally fatal wounds, they have their limits(I.E. if he were to have his head or something removed) but he could for example survive a hole through his stomach. His faster then normal healing rate depends on the wound(cuts in seconds, broken arm in an hour or so)
His demonic energy requires something to concentrate through, such as an sword. He can use it for his signature "Dragon Strike" technique( a electricty attack in the shape of a dragon), or the nameless technique he received upon getting the Baksusagia, basically a powerful energy wave. The power is largely depended on how much he put himself into the attack, though that comes at risk of draining him quickly. His 'energy' whip can be maintained as long as he has the energy to fight, and its strength is based on his own.

Tenseiga: Tenseiga is a unique sword, in the sense it Can't hurt any living beings as its a sword of healing and life. It has the power to either heal the wounded, or revive the dead.

Occupation: Former Lord of the West/Owner of "Rin" Enterprise.
History: Not much is known about Sessmaru at current, though back in the day he was known as 'The Lord of the West' being the son of the great Dog Demon, Inutaisho. In those days he fought often with his half-brother, Inuyasha, looking down at him for being an half-breed. He resented his brother even more for feeling he had been cheated, having a sword that couldn't hurt another living being, the Tenseiga a sword of life and healing. His brother however, had the Tessaiga, a sword of destruction said be able to kill a hundred lesser demons with a technique called "The Wind Scar"
Later on, he found a dead human girl and his sword propelled him to save and revive the girl who was later to be known as Rin. At first he expressed disinterest for the most part but over time he came to care for her like a father and was one of the first steps to softening his rather harsh view of humans.
Most of his journey was centered around travelling to find and destroy a very powerful demon named Naraku but it was something that required both himself and his brother's help to be able to finally put him down for good. Over the course of the travel, he slowly began to discover why his father had left him with a sword of healing. To him, as much as he didn't want to admit it came back to some words his father had said long ago that he had dimissed at the time:
"Do you have something to protect?"
At first he had thought of being strong because you were protecting someone else was a fool's errand, but he had learned that was far from the case. The other was, he unlike his brother was able to grow in power on his own and wouldn't have reached his full potential if he used his brother's sword.
After Naraku's defeat, Sesshomaru slipped back from the lime light, as he liked it. Time passed and eventually the demons and Youkai that had once been common place became scarce as humans and other races slowly rose while the remaining demons just slowly adapted in.
Sessomaru now owns his own business and helps his people the best he can on the side, or keeping the more 'rowdy' members of his kind in line as not to disturb the peace. It's been relatively quite for some time on his end, but who's to say how long that'll last?
