General Description:
Lamia are a all female race native to the Earth Realm that as such, need males of other species in order to continue their race. They have a humanoid upper half but a snake-like lower end with a long tail, though they can shape shift to two legs; a defense mechanism when dealing with humans back in the day to remain hidden since they aren't a naturally powerful race.
In those days, Humans mistaken them from demons or monsters so they were either killed or treated poorly in some ways.

Home Lands: Earth, and while they don't have a place where its just them, it is said they have some hidden villages here and there, most of their race are more spread out and nomadic, to prevent disaster from coming to their people.

Personality:
Lamia are in a word, optimistic generally. They had a rough which while would have made most bitter, has done the opposite effect, in theory optimism served them better to live in the moment and be grateful for what they do have. They tend to have a empathy for others seem like they're getting stepped on, large in part due to their own history.
Of course like with all intelligent races, it varies a lot by multiple factors.

Physical Description: In their true form, they have a humanoid upper half, but a snake lower haif. When they transform, however, they can pass as a normal human. Due to their nature of their species, they all tend to be very attractive in their own right.

Relations:
They don't mind other races and try to keep it that way. Some aren't as fond of humans, while others are just more weary/cautious.

Natural Power Set:
(EX) Enhanced Stats: They have mildly enhanced stats, being three times as strong as someone of their build would be. They don't however grow stronger naturally in anyway.
(SU) Minor Shape Shift: As noted, they can transform partly to walk on two legs, a learned skill and something that seemed to have come a bit later in their species.
(EX) Heat Signature: Lamia can see heat signatures, allowing them to more easily track beings that have it.
(EX) Cold Weakness: Lamia are Poikilotherms, organisms that do not have a stable internal temperature and must rely on external sources to maintain a healthy body temperature. As such, they are extremely vulnerable to cold temperatures and will either fall into hibernation and/or die if left exposed to low. temperatures for too long.This would explain why they make most of their homes in warm to hot environments when possible.
(EX) Being snake-related, they can go without food for a week, and they do, occasionally shed in their natural form which is something that oddly embarrasses them more then being seen naked typically.
