Physical Description: Aoi is tall, muscular, and bright red from head to toe. Her straw-blond hair is usually swept back into a wild mane, or sometimes tied into a sloppy ponytail, and reaches down to her lower waist. Her facial features are generally quite sharp. A pair of ram horns sprout from her forehead and curl steeply backward and over her head; the tips of them are usually lost in her hair. Aoi's lower canines are very large and sprout up from between her lips like a pair of small tusks. Her finger and toenails are black, tough, and grow to be very long and sharp; it's bad enough that Aoi tends to go without shoes or socks, since she has a history of tearing them to shreds if she isn't careful. Her eyes are bright yellow with black sclera.

Known Relatives: Aoi lives with her parents, Daichi and Kazue. Her extended family makes up a fair number of lawyers, business consultants, bankers, and other mid-level corporate personnel among the many businesses of Uminari City, though she isn't close with any of them.

Abilities: Aoi can manipulate the inertia of anything she's holding and the inertia of her own body. She can maintain the effect with minimal effort, though it ceases several seconds after the object leaves her hands.

Restrictions: Aoi can only manipulate objects if she can fully wrap her arms or hands around them. A finger must be in contact with another finger or a thumb (or possibly toes with toes, but that doesn't come up often). The upper limit of Aoi's inertia manipulation seems to be roughly eight times it's starting value; she hasn't discovered a solid lower limit yet.

Personality: Aoi tends to be quiet and reserved; she’s quite shy despite her imposing presence and tends to let Shinobu do the talking for the both of them when it’s convenient. She tries to put her all into whatever she does, be that her sport of choice, exploring the depths of her supernatural abilities, or diving into her studies. Aoi is propelled by an unstoppable drive for self improvement and a burning desire to nurture that same drive in others. Unfortunately, she’s often too shy to mentor anyone who doesn’t directly ask and still hasn’t figured out how to break out of her own shell.

History: Aoi comes from a long line of powerful Oni and a longer line of affluent businessmen. Her difficulties in her studying and predilection for sport has caused some strain with the rest of her otherwise highly academically- and business-inclined family, who generally regard her as something of a boor. She maintains a mostly positive relationship with her parents but the constant presence of extended family at her home means she avoids being at home whenever possible. She has a habit of frittering time away in the school gym or library when she isn’t wrestling with Shinobu or attending club activities. Thanks to Shinobu, she's become something of a delinquent in the opinion of her elders and is constantly dodging their attempts to lock down on her personal freedom (with some help from her parents).
