Even a young age, Carlie knew she wanted to do big things with her life only for a long time she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. Her mother and father were both military but she had no interest in that path even if she respected it.. Around the time she was in high school she finally had a idea of what she wanted with her life which was reporting. With that in mind, she went to school, got her degree and everything else before heading out into the galaxy.
At first she was a nobody but overtime she grew a decent reputation for herself of reporting news she felt people needed to hear, even if the areas were really dangerous. This also caused friction with some people who didn't want the truth to be told as well.
