History: Tyler was a young man who had ambitions about joining SOLDIER and becoming a hero like many of the people that worked for Shinra. However, it turned out because of some odd family genetics the Mako-enhancing process only increased his physical abilities to a limited amount. As such he was stuck doing with the grunt work instead of things he he had wanted.
During his time working with Shinra, he did some questionable things he thought were for the good of everyone that Shinra had lied about. This was when Tyler got disillusioned about the whole thing and left or rather ditched the company. Since then he's been wandering and ended up staying up a place called Rehan, a refuge town that had people trying to get away; whether it be people from Wutai or ex SOLDIER's who too had become disillusioned.
For a time he had issues with a old man named particular named Kenji who was from Wutati(ended up breaking his nose) but after a time they ended up warming up to each other and oddly or not are very good friends. Now Tyler lives a quite life there, but he never got completely over some of the things he had done.
