Cyra tested the ladder a bit, kicking her heel into the bottom rung to be rewarded with a satisfying 'thrum' from the iron. "Well, hopefully no one is waiting at the top," she said as she hopped onto the first rung and began climbing.
The top floor was, thankfully, empty. Little more than an empty room and a doorway out onto the roof. Across the shingles, all the way on the other end of the chapel was another doorway which entered into what was plainly the belltower, judging by the ornate bell at the top. "It doesn't seem guarded," Cyra mumbled more to herself than anyone else. "Could their be more knights of Balder within the tower? Perhaps... Hm. None posted along the top. It looks safe. Ethel, do you think it's safe?"
