| Character Name: Tachibana Miyori (Surname, Given Name. Written as: ‘Wild Orange’ and ‘See Sense’)_________________________Fandom: Memories of Eternity (Original Story, Original Character)_________________________Alias: When the mood strikes her, ‘Nise’ (Tr: ‘False’ - she’s being facetious… and a bit self-depreciative.)_________________________Apparent Age: Youthful. Somewhere in her 20’s.__________________________Date Of Birth: April 2__________________________Origin: Tokyo, Japan; An Alternate Earth__________________________Race: A lingering spirit -- simply put, a ghost.____________________________Height: 5’7”____________________________Weight: ~140 lbs (when alive.) Technically weightless.____________________________Gender: Female____________________________Physical Description:A woman with an air of mischief about her, Miyori carries herself much like a cat that’s found an interesting toy. Her hair is a nondescript chestnut brown, though her eyes are a peculiar emerald. She’s never found without a wry smile on her face. As a spirit, she can wear whatever she chooses, but she’ll always have - something - yellow on her, and it will usually be a scarf.____________________________Known Relatives: Dairoku Eien (Surrogate Daughter; Alive)________________________________Religion: Agnostic._________________________________Skills:Deceit: A consummate liar, Miyori’s very well practiced at deceiving others. She can put on nearly any persona, lie with a straight face, subvert the truth, etc. However, it is not a skill she enjoys using, anymore.Empathy: Less a supernatural ability and more a result of Miyori’s knowledge of, and familiarity with, people; Miyori is easily capable of reading the expressions of others and getting a feel for their motivations and personality. As a result, she’s as skilled at spotting a liar as she is lying - though typically this skill is simply used to get under people’s skin.Encyclopedia: Miyori is an extremely intelligent, well-learned individual who studied a wide variety of eclectic subjects. She doesn’t know -everything- but she knows quite a lot, and could probably teach a course in a broad range of subjects. Her most notable fields are electronics, mechanical engineering, computer programming, human biology, and cybernetics._________________________________Abilities:Learning Mind: Miyori grasps new concepts easily and is capable of learning new subjects exactly as fast as they’re capable of being taught. I/e: She retains information exceedingly well, and tends to make connections faster than they’re explained to her. This is the primary cause of her Encyclopedia skill._________________________________Alignment: True Neutral________________________________Personality: Miyori is a playful person with a predisposition toward pushing people toward great distraction. More simply: she’s a non-malicious Troll. She takes great pleasure in seeing the expressions on others’ faces change, and thus enjoys messing with them so that their expression will change. However, these traits are only her most obvious. Beneath her foolish persona, Miyori has a calculating mind, and is more than capable of being serious if the situation warrants it._________________________________Powers/Restrictions:Flight: As a spirit, Miyori’s capable of hovering in place. She’s capable of simply ignoring gravity - no doubt helped by the fact she’s technically weightless. She can go as high and far as she likes before stopping. However, she can’t start moving after she’s come to a stop without pushing off of a solid surface first, and can’t move any faster than the force of the push allows.Intangibility: As a spirit, Miyori can never ‘touch’ anything that’s not ‘part of her,’ ever, under any circumstances, as she’s a ghost - despite hower lively she can be at times. This means she’s more or less immune to harm, but she can do very little to interact with the world. And in the case something is capable of harming her, she’s helpless to defend herself beyond running away from it.Invisibility: As a spirit, Miyori is capable of being completely invisible. Rather, this is her default state. Unless the observer is spiritually sensitive or has something specifically designed to detect spirits, Miyori is completely unnoticeable to anyone she doesn’t will to be noticed by. However, to those she allows to see her, Miyori is a solid, ‘real’ person. Visibly, anyway. She doesn’t cast a shadow or have a reflection, of course, and any attempt to touch her would simply pass through._________________________________Weapons: None - she can’t interact with the physical world and lacks any sort of spiritual or magical attacks.Precious Items: Her bright, garish yellow scarf._________________________________Phobias: Losing Herself._________________________________Illnesses: Does ‘a severe case of terminal deadness’ count? In all seriousness, though, none. This is probably inapplicable, too..._________________________________Sexual Preferences: Issun Keishin._________________________________Occupation: None.________________________________History:“I promised...” There was once a girl bored of the world around her. Seeking something interesting, she found a boy that reminded her of herself. Wanting to learn more of him - and to see how far she could push him - she put on a cheerful mask and approached him. Playfully teasing him, she wormed her way into his heart and became his first friend - bringing him out into the world. It was fun. She enjoyed speaking with someone with a tongue as sharp as hers. She enjoyed speaking with someone who would take her words at face value. And she enjoyed being joyful. So it was that the mask became a permanent feature and, perhaps, ceased being a mask at all… if it ever was.“...from now on, it’s not a lie - this is ‘me!’” ________________________________Status: Dead (Technically.) | |
