Abilities: Elly is a being with no centralized consciousness. Her human body is a facsimile created by herself because she wanted to be able to fit in with humans. As a result of her nature she can gather biomass into her self in a variety of ways that she can control in a fluid and dynamic way. Her entire ‘self’ is equally capable of housing her consciousness and as a result she is resilient and incredibly difficult to kill. She is also able to split portions of herself off to perform tasks and these fragments are connected to her mind in ways ranging from entities controlled by her subconscious to directly ‘remote’ controlled. She often uses static debris or bones to create skeletons or “bodies” for these entities to be better able to move around. Subconscious entities can be difficult for her to directly control, particularly in large numbers as she must force her conscious mind to override her subconscious desires. She can also interface directly with someone’s mind to steal information, memories, and skills. It doesn't leave lasting damage to the victim but obvious evidence is left as she must physically come into contact with the brain. The stolen information is rarely immediately decipherable and often difficult to access effectively.

Personality: Elly could be best described as a happy, bubbly, ditz. She is perfectly happy to carve out a life for herself and remain content there until she must move on or something tries to disrupt her life. She is mercurial in her likes and goes through many interests and rarely is consistent in her mannerisms. Of particular note is how quickly she can be inspired to anger. If something harms her, or the people she cares for she is quick to slip into murderous rage. Even if said damage is superficial or easily corrected, if pain is caused she will repay it a thousand fold.

Powers: Very basic manipulation of energy (magic) She can also absorb or devour the ambient magic in the air or from beings that radiate excess energy. This consumed energy does not add to her biomass. The energy can be utilized in a fashion where she simply wants it to do something and consciously forces it to do so. As a result of this her “spells” are often massively wasteful and inefficient. That being said she has no upper limit to the energy she can gather, though doing so in huge amounts leads to dangerous effects on the world around her.

Restrictions: She cannot generate her own magic she must collect it from those who can. As mentioned above any effect she achieves with the power she gathers is tremendously wasteful and is likely to quickly be depleted.

Stats:
Strength: Ranges from typical strength of a 20 year old woman to something capable of momentarily lifting a car. She can force her human body to operate at the very limit of its ability. Though this produces the typical negative effects associated with doing so she is able to simply repair the damage in a matter of a few seconds thanks to her nature. When willing to break human form she has no upper limit to her strength, it being purely dependant on her size. The more she eats, the larger she can grow, the larger she grows the more weight she can throw around.

Speed: Limited to that of a quick human muscle movement, though the form of the entity may enhance or detract from this. (A fraction of herself wrapped around a canine skeleton would be much faster than an entity using a snake or insect like configuration.)

Magic: Explained above, quick summary: Gathers ambient or cast off magic and is able to use it for tremendously wasteful and inefficient “spells”

Psychic: Explained above, quick summary: Contact telepath, requires direct physical contact with the brain. Could feel the presence of other souls in her infancy but is no longer capable of this.

Durability: Is a greatly decentralized being, any small fragment is capable of harboring her mind and as a result she is incredibly difficult to kill. Wider area attacks are more effective as is fire, or any effect that directly destroys matter.

Soul: Externally low, she is not really capable of psychic abilities and her ability to control magic is crude at best. Internally an invader will be confused by her alien psyche and crushed by the sheer size of Elly’s presence. She is the most vulnerable to direct psychic attack though doing so will cause her to rampage.

Stamina: Elly is tireless, again due to her nature. Though she does need to eat varying amounts based on how active she is, though this need can be satisfied by traditional biological matter or magic.

History: She was born when the city of Jolton California was carved from the earth and deposited on a world rife with rampant natural magic. The magic reacted with elements in the city most notably the crude oil in a refinery the town was centered around. This caused a reaction similar to necromancy creating artificial souls. Elly just happened to be the strongest of these souls as she devoured her siblings to grow further. The town had only one other inhabitant, a human man named John. Elly’s mental abilities grew and unbeknownst to her she had grown used to, almost dependant on the distant presence of John. When John left the town she was compelled to follow, subverting the biological crude oil into the basis of her body she broke out of the tank and sought him out. She found him living amongst native beings and she knew (due to an encounter with an evil spirit early in her history) that the natives would seek to destroy her if they discovered her. Not knowing what to do she decided to change her form to hide and be close to John. She broke into the prison he was incarcerated in at the time and forced her way into his brain. She looked into his mind and learned what the features of the opposite sex he found the most attractive and set about crafting a body to match. Stolen bones, poached flesh and hide went into the first body and magic forced the flesh to take the form of a working human body she could inhabit. (Now she is able to simulate this form at will and no longer has to “build” it.) Long story short: She lived side by side with John for several years, expanding her mental abilities through experience and learning. (John thought she was mentally retarded at first due to her mature body but child like mind.) After some time she sought a romantic relationship with John and it was greatly encouraged by the natives (They were fascinated by humans in general and the feats of creativity they were capable of.) Soon after that a series of terrible events revealed what she was and as she expected she was hunted. She, was cornered and John was killed after confronting each other in a church back in Jolton. The natives used magic against her main mass and John was thrown to the ground by a tremor, causing a shotgun to go off and kill Elly’s human body. (that was harboring most of her mind) Soon after the church was destroyed and collapsed on top of John, killing him. Elly was soon defeated after she went on a rampage against the natives attacking her. They used a large scale magic attack that combined with her own primitive casting abilities and dropped her in a strange room in an unknown place, surrounded by humans.
