| Personal Transportation Pod General - The LX2 Personal Travel Capsule Podular Vehicle MCTC is the primary personal means of transport for the Realmbeasts. It was manufactured by the military and the Time-Space Agency on Animaria, and would allow both soldiers and agents to travel quickly and safely in worlds that they had to map. Its spherical design allows for improved aerodynamics, and boasts an 88% synch rate with the aerodynamic and atmospheric physics properties with a 76% probably chance of successful operation. The LX2 has no weapons, but does offer full uPAL/AI synchronisation as well as mirage-o-flage. Crew/Capacity - The LX2 can only carry one passenger at a time. Countermeasures - No offensive countermeasures. The LX2 has no weapons. It does, however, have a mirage setting, which bends the visual spectrum around it to create the illusion of being something else (like a tree or some shit). In addition, it possess MATO capabilities. When the MATO function is activated the pod can travel at speeds that break the sound barrier, ensuring it makes a quick getaway. Features
- Full uPAL/Artificial Intelligence Integration: The onboard AI or uPAL inserted into the CPU Device Bay acts as a central computer and processing unit. While the uPAL is preferred to artificial intelligence for its diversity and superior integrated AI chip, use of an AI is not uncommon due to its relatively ease of use. The uPAL will act as an AI, GPS, temperature gauge, thermostat, personal computer, communication device, WiFi hotspot, item storage unit, mechanic, and heads-up display. The HUD displays information directed through its User's brain and is unique to their individual brain pattern. Only they can see the information created from their uPAL unless they register other Users or manually authorise viewing. It still performs its original bio-interface HUD functions.

| Universal Polyutility-Acquired TooL v0.11 General This invention is the cornerstone of the 42nd and their must-have item. Required by TSA procedures to be on them at all times, the uPAL is a multipurpose contraption that no agent would dare to forget to bring with them going anywhere. Take a cellular phone, SSN, driver's license and credit card. Now combine them into a singular object. That clusterfuck of a thing you have now is how the 42nd sees their uPAL. The invention of the uPAL was a joint effort between the Time-Space Agency, the Animarian Armed Forces Coalition and Seagate Technologies GLX. Commissioned in 33XX UB and authorised by the TSA Head Administrator in order to grant operatives a way to adapt to and overcome the many challenges they would face on the job. It took about 23 years to create a functional uPAL. The first experiment concept, the T10, would always blow up and/or burn the User. It was about to be decommissioned when a scientist from Seagate Technologies offered to lead the project. Description - The v0.11 uPAL is fully modular. Thus, it has no universal look. It can resemble anything from a rectangular piece of glass, to a holographic watch. The Core Seven (Recondo and his six colleagues) have uPALs designed for their specific personalities and abilities. Those who have uPALs are referred to as Users. v0.11 Functions
- Multidimensional Pocket Storage Caching: Perhaps the most astounding feature of the uPAL is its ability to store seemingly endless amounts of objects inside of itself. If a User doesn't want to carry items on their person, they simply store them in the uPAL.
- QuickAccess: A customisation convenience more than a function. QuickAccess allows Users, according to their settings or common behaviours, to quickly access an item the system thinks they want. It uses its Organoid Intelligence, BioLink and User Control Panel to create this function.
- Organoid Intelligence: OI for short. This is a complex, half-living half-machine intelligence that lived within the uPAL's hardware. The OI can be upgraded to the Second-Self edition wherein it becomes sentient. Of course, Users lose some modular customisation here. Keeping a standard OI gives them the option of choosing voice and behavioural patterns, or letting them develop on their own.
- Log Book Archive: The Archive is a vast storage processor that retains any and all information recorded. Kind of the cornerstone function, as that is what the 42nd does. They make maps and archive information. While the OI is advanced enough to auto-log a new entry, the data can be edited in any way, shape or form if the User so desires. Usually, the uPAL will scan whatever it's pointed at, then inform the User that there is a new entry in the Archive. The new entry notification settings can be customised. This is accessed via User Control Panel.
- Personal Computer: Not much to say here. uPALs can function like a personal computer. Emails. YouTube. Porn. The works.
- Communications: Can also act as a mobile communications device. The uPAL, unlike cellular phones seen on Earth, is capable of having multiple calls or chats going at one time. The User control this mentally thanks to the BioLink technology integration. Can do calls, emails, chats, voice over network, and other frequencies like HAM radio/analogue device configuration.
- Multimedia: Capable of making pictures, music and videos.
- BioLink Integration/Interface: The BLII connects to a Users body, from there it shares the data with the rest of the uPAL system. The initial connection feels invasive, but that feeling passes after a few moments. The BioLink is what allows Users to control their uPAL mentally, and is responsible for the QucikAccess features, too.
- Heads-Up Display: The HUD is a visual and audible feature that displays information in real time. The information shown can be fully customised and is private to the specific User unless they give public clearance or register someone else as compatible. The HUD is projected from the BioLink through the User's brain.
- BioLink Monitoring: The BioLink monitors the many systems of its User's body. The systems it accommodates are: skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, excretory, endocrine, immune, integumentary, and reproductive. If the User lacks one of these systems, the BioLink won't display it.
- Global Positioning System: Does this need an explanation?
- WeatherVanetm: Displays the current temperature and weather, and can also display a forecast.
- Multifunctional Problem Solver: One of the most impressive functions available. The MPS is activated verbally, or if the User's cardiovascular and/or endocrine systems are assumed to be acting abnormally (fight-or-flight response). If it detects this, it activates its MPS mode. The mode is only used when in battle or otherwise threatened. It searches its data, and, if available, the data of other devices, cross-analyses them and comes up with a tier of solutions, usually rated from most probable and effective to least.
- User Control Panel: The hard-coded profile that a User creates to fit his or her preferences.
- HAPLAS Network and UMN: The uPAL can act as a hotspot for wireless-capable devices using the HAPLAS. Inversely, it can access the UMN -- the Realmbeast version of the internet -- or it can use terrestrial internet networks like the World Wide Web.
- Scan: Pretty impressive, yet simple. You point, scan and let the data log itself. Anything can be scanned. The uPAL will usually be able to tell what it's made of, where it comes from, weaknesses, etc. This function is still being figured out by the 42nd. It should be improved in future versions.
Current Version - v0.11. There is talk amongst the core seven to develop a v0.12 and v0.112 for civilian consumption, and a v0.21 for official use. Currently, these talks are being had between the 42nd-created start-up company, and the agents of Nobus in Nexus City -- seemingly the most advanced place in the Multiverse.
