Between Us

Elsa stopped what she was doing, frowning a bit. "..Did you hear that?"

Dysis turned his attention where the brief commotion had taken place. "My senses aren't as sharp as yours, but I definitely heard something. Maybe we should check it out?"

"That's what my gut says." Adell piped in. "Might be someone doing something they aren't suppose to be though--or something else. Can't really tell."

Elsa didn't wait any longer, and began walking towards where the commotion closer it wasn't as if she had to be close with her sharp hearing and eye sight. Just..something told her she should and she couldn't ignore it.

When they showed up, it was to find a young man with brown hair and kind eyes being pushed up against a tree by a larger man. "You think you can get away with trying to steal my girl, is that it?"

"Uh, I can promise you, I wasn't doing that. I just picked up her books for her because she dropped them... and besides that, I don't think she's your 'girl', she seemed to not even know y-" The larger man slammed his fist into his stomach, doubling him over. He went for another blow, only to find something was very wrong. Tomoya had gripped his wrist, stopping his strike. Ashi had pried his other hand off of the brown-haired young man, and Kahlua had him in a headlock.

"What the..."

"What a surprise, a bully picking on someone weaker then him." Kieth dead panned, almost looking bored. He was already read to shove a self-absorbed jerk up their own ass but it looked like he wouldn't really have to do anything. Ashi and Tomoya had beat him to it. Anyone with sensing could tell how strong they were, unless the guy was really strong(doubtful because Tomoya stopped him as did Ashi) or just stupid the smart thing to do would be to back down.

Unfortunately for them, smart wasn't really a word used to describe them.

Elsa jogged over to the young man to help him, looking concerned. "Are you okay? You aren't too hurt are you?"

Dysis felt it was too easy.

That's why the other, slightly cynical part of him told him the creep would try something even after this.

The young man sighed. "Ah, yes, I'm fine, thank you. No damage done." The larger man sneered.

"This ain't over, runt. You think these losers can hold me?" At this, Tomoya raised a brow. Suddenly, the bully winced, as Tomoya applied more pressure. "Tch... think you're so tough, taking me on two on one?"

"You are a cocky one, aren't you?" Tomoya was quickly getting bored here. He released the man, and motioned for Kahlua to do the same. She happily moved over to the others, while Tomoya waved the guy off. "Just leave, alright? We'll pretend this shit didn't happen, and you can go on and not get your ass kicked today. Deal?" He moved over to Elsa and the brown-haired man. "Come on, let's leave bozo to his hot air." Tomoya took Elsa's hand, and started to lead her off as the man seethed, and the other moved to follow.

"...Know what? You've got a hot one there yourself. Maybe I'll trade in. She looks like she could use a good ride." At those words, Elsa would notice Tomoya's grip on her hand became almost painful as he tensed up completely.

"...Nobody touch him.... he's MINE...." His voice had become a low growl, and he turned toward the man. "...What's your name?"

"Heh. Saizou Komiya. Why, want to know who's going to beat your ass?"

"No, so I know what name to give when you're taken to the hospital. And I'm Tomoya Okazaki, so you know who it is your fucking with." Tomoya cracked his knuckles, walking toward Saizou. "I'm going to enjoy this..."

Elsa offered a small smile to that. That was good news. "I'm glad. My name is Elsa Isshan and these are my friends." She was about to say something else when the comment from Saizou made her stiffen. The vampire had been ignoring him before but the lewd remark irked her but before she could say anything, or anyone else for that matter Tomoya interrupted.

She felt a strange shiver go down her spine when Tomoya made that growl but she couldn't really explain why but she'd think about it later. If Tomoya wanted to handle him alone, she was fine with that. He wouldn't be in trouble anyway. She backed away, as did Reizo, Kieth, Emanulle and Dysis.

"One minute." Kieth said suddenly after a moment. Dysis raised a brow.

"One minute to what?"

"That's about all I give Saizou." Kieth replied shrugging. "I'll bet money on it."

"Under a minute. And if you're serious about it, five bucks." Dysis extended his hand. "Deal?"

"Deal." Kieth confirmed it.

Tomoya walked right up to Saizou, rolling his shoulder's. "So, how do you want to do thi-" Before he could finish, Saizou sank his fist into Tomoya's stomach, doubling him over... only for Tomoya to straighten. "...That's it?" He reached up, and flicked Saizou in the forehead, causing him to reel backward, staggering.

"What the fuck!?"

Kieth wondered if he was going to lose this bet, but he didn't particularly cared if he did; it was only five dollars. Plus, he just wanted to see the cocky asshole eat his own words so to speak. Dysis was of the same mind, just watching the 'fight' taking place.

Adell had felt other young man's energy, it felt like a humans. In fact, he was pretty sure of it. The fight didn't interest him too much since it was so one sided in the first place.

Tomoya was about to say something, when Saizou, quite angry, decided to transform. He became much, much bigger, and muscular. Tomoya whistled a bit. "Damn... roids are a terrible thing, you know. Make your nuts shrivel."

"Think you're funny!? Let's see how much you like this!" Saizou brought his massive hands together, and brought them both down like a hammer ontop of Tomoya, seemingly crushing him.

If anyone was worried about Tomoya when Saizou had hit him, nobody really showed it. Kieth and Dysis merely watched with Adell. Emanulle and Reizo seemed to be just waiting for things to end and Elsa was keeping her eyes on the whole thing, not missing a beat.

Saizou started laughing, until he heard an annoyed sigh from Ashi. "Tomoya, stop playing around." Saizou made a face, then his eyes widened as his hands were forced up, Tomoya casually pushing him back.

"Eh, fine." Saizou, clearly upset, cocked his fist back, only for Tomoya to suddenly be in the air, grabbing him by the face, and then slamming him into the ground. Saizou pushed himself to his feet with a snarl, only to find Tomoya burying his elbow into Saizou's stomach. Saizou tensed.... made a strange noise... and then vomited, before collapsing to the ground.

"We'll..that was anticlimatic.." Emanulle said to no one in particular, but he hadn't really been expecting too much in the end and neither had anyone else.

Elsa almost felt pity for the downed person..for the fraction of two seconds. Then she ignored them and went to Tomoya, hugging him briefly and looking him over. "I know you're a lot stronger then him, but are you sure you're okay?"

Adell turned back to the young man while Kieth reluctantly gave some of his money to Dysis having lost the bet. "I got distracted with that moron acting stupid, forgot my manners. My name is Adell Kronos, what's your name?"

"Just Kieth Everhart." Kieth said with a nod. Dysis, Reizo and Emanulle also introduced themselves.

Tomoya shrugged. "Eh, I'm fine. That guy looks a lot stronger than he actually is..." Meanwhile, the brown-haired boy was suddenly having everyone introduce themselves to him, and was startled.

"Oh, uh, Tohru. Tohru Mutou. It's nice to meet you all. Also, thank you. I don't know why that guy was so upset..."

Elsa inspected him closer, and then after a moment backed away satisfied. "Okay, I'll let it be. You're right he couldn't be that strong from what I felt. But I promised Yulina I would 'keep you out of trouble for her' so guess you better help me keep that promise?" She was of course teasing. "Didn't know when Yulina got bossy."

Emanulle shook his head a bit. "It's really nothing you've done, or your fault. He was probably more enraged you were attracting some type of attention however small just by being yourself more then he ever could. If you like, you could travel with us until you head off to your first class. But you shouldn't have any more problems anytime soon that idiot aside."

"Is there a problem?" A new voice interrupted. It was Morgan again. "I noticed Saizou unconcious. He was a problem to be sure but I never had direct evidence to do much of anything to him, yet. I assume he did something though, yes? Mind telling me what happened?"

Tohru was about to respond to Emanulle, when Morgan walked up. Tomoya shrugged slightly. "He made a comment I didn't like, so I kicked his ass."

"Ah, he was about to hit me when these guys showed up and helped me. Then Saizou said some rather... um, rude things about... um, Elsa, yes? And Tomoya responded." Tohru felt the need to elaborate, so Morgan didn't think Tomoya was just simply being violent. Tomoya, however...

"By which he means, I kicked Saizou's stupid ass."

Elsa rolled her eyes, but was slightly amused. "Tohru said the gist of it. Saizou was acting a bit rowdy and wouldn't back down from hurting Tohru. He thought he could bully him because he was 'taking away' a girlfriend from him, that wasn't his in the first place. Anyway, the main reason we stepped in the first place was to prevent Tohru from getting hurt. Saiozu pushed, and we'll his state right now is the result."

Morgan shook her head. "That doesn't surprise me. I was waiting for the moment he'd make a slip up."

"Morgan, I'm going to be taking Saizou now."

The Dragon Demon glanced at one of her fellow student police members and nodded. "Go ahead." She turned back to the others, focusing on Tohru. "Tohru, was it? Is this your first day here?"

And why does he smell...human?

Tohru blinked, then nodded. "Uh, yeah. Not the best start to my time here, I guess. A Girl dropped her books, and I helped her pick them up. Saizou didn't like that... I'm sorry for causing trouble like this."

"You aren't to blame for some moron that was thinking with his dick, Tohru. You were just helping someone out." Dysis said with a shrug. It was simple really and Tohru didn't need to apologize for something when he hadn't done anything wrong.

"Dysis!" Elsa said, slightly red faced. She..just wasn't used to people talking like that when people who worked at school settings where around.

"We'll...its the truth.." Adell replied, scratching the back of his head. "And I doubt Morgan cares."

"He's right. I don't. No need to apologize. It wasn't you who did anything wrong." Morgan said slightly amused. "Anyway, I think I'll escort you to your next class, whatever that may be. I also need to talk with the Headmaster but that can wait until after." The words talk seemed like she'd be doing something else.

Tohru paused. "Just me, or...?" He wasn't sure, and then Ruby spoke up.

"Ah, Morgan, remember? There's no classes on the first day anymore."

Morgan wondered how she forgot, she normally had good memory but people made mistakes. "Ah. Yes, you're right I had forgotten. I've probably been doing too much at once again and it slipped my mind. In that case, you seem to be in good hands already. Are you and your friends traveling with him?" The question seemed to be directed to Elsa.

"Uh, yes." Elsa said simply.

"Good." Morgan relaxed. "I'll let you be then. I need to deal with the idiot Saizou anyway and see about that talk. I'll see you all when I can."

Elsa watched her leave, then turned back to Ruby. "Um, I guess we could just continue the tour before we got interrupted by that man."

When it was to wind down and see about setting up room mates for their respective dorms, there was a small crowd that had formed. It was a couple of other young men pestering a girl with bright, long red-hair. They were wearing jeans and a turtle neck sweater.

As the group walked in, they of course noticed the girl being bothered, and some were about to say something, when Tohru suddenly spoke up. "Oh! That's her! The girl that Saizou was after, who dropped her books. I think she said her name was.... ah! Ameya!" He called out her name, smiling as he waved. He wasn't really aware that his friendly attitude and familiarity with Ameya might piss off her fans.

"Come on, just one date." One of Ameya's fanboys said, a tall and lankey teen with black hair followed by another.

"I promise you won't regret it."

Ameya wasn't sure how she had gotten in this situation, but even she was starting to become annoyed. She wasn't really looking for anybody in particular right now but if it happened, it happened. That said, she had no interest in any of the boys trying to pester her, they were all just a bit too pushy for her taste. If she got into a actual relationhip, they'd probably be very clingy.

"I'm not really looking." Ameya said, holding her books closer to her chest. "I apperciate it but-"

Her speech was cut off when Tohru interrupted, waving over. This seemed to perk the young dragon up who waved back. "Tohru!"

And of course that did bother some of the fans.

"Who the hell is he?"

"Why is Ameya so friendly to them?"

Ameya more or less ignored her fanclub and jogged over, a smile on her face. "I was looking for you after what happened but got pulled away. I'm sorry about that. How are you feeling? Saizou didn't do anything bad did he?" Saizou seemed pushy when she ran into him, but she wasn't sure about violent at the time since her encounter had been(very) brief.

Tohru paused, and smiled sheepishly. "It... wasn't much trouble, no." He didn't want to worry her. However...

"Saizou decided to get violent. We happened by. Saizou won't be causing trouble anytime soon." Ashi crossed her arms, looking around the room.

Ameya frowned a bit at this, leaning slightly forward becoming a Bit close to Tohru as she checked him over. She looked to his right side, then to his left, and finally backed away as if nothing happened. "We'll...you seem okay. Still had me worried."

"We got there before Saizou could do anything too stupid." Dysis said simply.

Ameya looked to the group before her, then slowly smiled again. "I don't think I introduced myself to the rest of you. My name is Ameya Lowell. It's very nice to meet all of you."

Everyone introduced themselves in turn, and it was around this time that, like a fog being lifted, people began to realize what they were seeing. Kahlua and Ruby were already well known at the school, and fans of theirs were starting to filter in. And then, new admirers. Moka, Ashi, Kurumu, and Elsa all suddenly had young men trying to get their attention. Mizore had gotten this treatment as well, until she had brought out her ice claws and directly threatened to freeze them all, in a calm voice.

Tomoya would have tried to stop people from flirting with Elsa, but unfortunately, it wasn't just the girls getting attention. The boys were getting some rather interesting attention from several of the female students, and Tomoya was clearly uncomfortable, not sure how to handle it. Tohru seemed to be in the same situation, trying to get his bearings.

"I'm flattered but um.." Elsa fumbled with her own words, not sure what to say as she was crowded around by various young men. When Tomoya got attention, she quickly became annoyed. A strange feeling clutched her heart and she found herself almost subconsciously moving a bit closer to him.

Adell did not like the other guys crowing around Moka, but he was sort of barred when he got some attention of his own. This caught him off guard a bit, but Moka was a more pressing matter in his mind so he excused himself to escape the mob and stepped by Moka's side. "Come on. Seriously give her space, you're smothering her."

As for Emanulle, Ashi seemed to be mostly ignoring the attention she got so he didn't feel as annoyed as he could have. However, the girls that were trying to ask him questions and such proved a bit of a problem. He didn't want to be rude since they weren't going over board but at the same time he wasn't interested with the sole fact his interest lay elsewhere. Kieth did something something a bit similar to Adell.

Ameya though...

She had first stood there for a moment, then noticed the attention Tohru was getting. At first nothing, but she quickly grew annoyed more then what she was used and went straight over, almost giving off a low growl. Ameya didn't know why the girls annoyed her so much, just she wanted them away from her new friend.

They don't have to be so pushy.
